Oh, I forgot, he did all of that on purpose to make sure the fans were happy.
of course, floyd loves to take punishment so his fans get their money's worth

No "pressing the action" dictates Aggression not Effective Aggression. If you aren't landing **** then it's not Effective so "pressing the action" means absolutely *** all. Moving forward doesn't score points.

You can press the action all night long and get countered to death.
Landing 3 jabs and a face touching straight right every round does not win you rounds over a guy throwing brutal body blows and landing an occasional power punch to the face all match.

yet in hopkins-calzaghe you think calzaghe won? maidana certainly landed far more than calzaghe did.

Can you shoe me where "Pressing the action" is?
I'll take effective aggression and ring generalship for a dollar.

Floyd was bullied, beat up, and his 'clean punching' didn't deter Cino, didn't allow him to execute a plan that allowed him to produce any kind of coherent offence, nor was his defence even remotely able to frustrate Chino.

Like I said, my rough score was 7-5 Chino, and I could buy 7-5 the other way, but anything else...

edit: I really do have to give it a proper second watch though.

He made Floyd uncomfortable with his rough-house tactics, sure.

Still not a scoring criteria really. Maybe some credit for Ring Generalship. The emphasis is on clean effective punching though

Different fights altogether. Mayweather did far more than Hopkins did. Not every fight is a reference to Calzaghe-Hopkins.

Floyd was not able to fight his usual pot shot fight because Marcos was in his grill all night long. Marcos dictated the pace of the fight and controlled the majority of the action. To say otherwise is just lying to yourself. The clean punching is evident from the body work and from floyds face, unless of course, you can show me another fight where Floyd was marked up like that.
