You're right, Mayweather did nothing at all to win the fight.
I give Maidana call the credit in the world but he lost, plain and simple. You need to go to ********** and read the mailbag, Bread Edwards sums up the fight perfectly.
i actually keep seeing it as a draw or mayweather winning it by a point

recently watched it, changed some rd's around, but the outcome was the same, a drawish fight that i can see leaning more towards a mayweather win than a maidana win

so obviously, im not saying mayweather did nothing, he won on points, in an amatuer type fight, he touched(literally a lot of the time) maidana up, and he was very elusive, but he did little damage

his best punch was that uppercut in the 4th rd, a real beauty

It was a draw or a win by Maidana. First 5 rounds alone was Maidana.

Give one or 2 rounds for Maidana. He wins. At the least a draw is proper.

Oh and Floyd is open for body shots all night.

I scored it a draw or mayweather winning by one round. It depends on how you scored the 11th imo. Mayweather dominated early/here and there but maidana was consistent throughout the round.

if mayweather slowed him down it was about 20-10% outside of the real cause, "muscle fatigue"
It's a shame some people can't see whats right in front of their eyes.

I agree. Like how some people dn't want to admit that Maidana is a better fighter than Khan.

Why did he lose to him then?

Very close fight. I had mayweather winning by a round but he didn't look good. I'd reamach maidana then retire.....
