8-4 7-5 the worse. The part that had me worried for...the first time since Mosley popped Floyd was how he kept pawing his eye. I am like "Floyd I know you are cut be re****ingfocus!" He adjusted and those last 6 rounds were Floyd putting in work on Chino. Great fight.
I went from excited and on the edge of my set in the first round, then calmed down when Floyd took some control in the second round, and then interested again when Maidana started doing good in the third. When Mayweather started bleeding in the fourth round and he continuously pawed at his eye, I seriously thought we were about to see Floyd lose for the first time. I thought for a second he'd fall apart like Jones did when he got cut versus Calzaghe.
I thought for sure midway through the fight that Maidana's output would decrease because of past stamina issues and Floyd's shots to the body, but he hung there.
I scored the fight 7-5 for Floyd with him sweeping the last two rounds. I could see people scoring it a draw, though.
You guys are always talking about contract expectations, as if that's Mayweather's problem. His money is guaranteed. Showtime knowingly and willingly knew they could lose money on the deal. Bob Arum said this exact same thing. They still rolled the dice though to get that market share.
We'll technically it's good for the fans because it almost forces a bigger fight.
None of us know the detail of the contract only what he says to the public but I'm sure there is something to it. And we seen that as soon as he called out canelo and the marketing behind it.
If any promtion company wants to continue doing contract business with 7 figures I'm sure it's in the best interest of the promoters , managers and fighters to bring enough revenue in weather it be obligated or strictly a good way to establish long term business
And if Floyd says he can retire right now I'm sure there is parts of the contract we are yet to know about
Mayweather was a lot better defensively watching it a 2nd time, it's his offense that wasn't clicking. Also, round 4 is a clear Mayweather round, very clear.
I can't find 9 rounds for Floyd, and I think 8 would be a little unfair to Maidana, though if you scored the close rounds for Floyd, I guess you could.
Floyd was really close, but it was fairly clear, it was just super competitive. I would like a rematch if Mayweather-Pacquiao isn't made.
Let Khan fight Brook/Porter, Thurman, Guerrero, etc. Then he can fight Floyd if he wins a fight like that.

I have the exact same card as you.
I thought both the 3rd was close (Scored for Maidana) and the 4th was close (Scored for Floyd).
What do you think of the 6th? Some people consider than a clear Maidana round.... Baffling, I know.
The only clear cut Rounds Maidana had in the fight were 1, 5 and 8.

Same exact card except I gave Maidana the 12th and had it 7-5. I'll watch it again once NBA playoffs are over.
