That's exactly how I scored it. Maidana put up a hell of a fight but came up just short.

Here is my card after watching the fight twice, and gifting swing rounds to Mayweather (the 6th, 8th and 12th could potentially be swing rounds in my book).

          May Maidana
          9 10
          9 10
          9 10
          9 10
          9 10
          10 9
          10 9
          10 9
          10 9
          10 9
          9 10
          10 9
          ____________
          114 114

If anybody deserved the win I would say Maidana, for outworking Mayweather (easily I might add), and landing a ton of body shots that for some reason, a lot of people on this site didn't see or score. Yes, Maidana was reckless in spots and less accurate, but Mayweather coasted a lot and really did not look good in there last night.

Anything other than 114-114, a Maidana win, or MAYBE 115-113 Mayweather is acceptable. But 116-112, 117-111, give me a break! How did he do enough to win 8 rounds getting battered to the body up on the ropes all night?

This has RJJ vs. Tarver all over it - and you all remember what happened in the rematch. Floyd needs to retire or he will be hurt or KOed soon. Maidana is not an elite fighter by any means and had his ears boxed off in the past by much lesser fighters. Mayweather either was not focused and did not take this guy seriously, or he got old overnight.

8-4 7-5 the worse. The part that had me worried for...the first time since Mosley popped Floyd was how he kept pawing his eye. I am like "Floyd I know you are cut be re****ingfocus!" He adjusted and those last 6 rounds were Floyd putting in work on Chino. Great fight.

                  7-5 is very fair

And in order to take the champs title it has to be blatant as day

I didn't see maidana do anything enough to take the champs titles and number
I seen him giving as much as a close fight as Oscar did and ricky hatton pre tko

The fact that it's Marcos maidana and Floyd mayweather the only way he had a shot was a broner treatment or ko

But trying to pull a decision from Floyd is difficult
And even at that Floyd still edged it on an even playing field of viewers analysis and re watches.

One thing that surprised me is Floyd was never hurt and he caught huge shots it was more so his mind that was a little less sharp and his reluctant ness to pull the trigger at times .. He fought cautious until chino gassed where I'm sure he knew he had to win the final rounds as long as he kept it close in the first 6.

Great fight over all it's sad the ppv won't do canelo or oscar numbers and when it was one of the best Floyd fights yet all his too sellers were snooze fest.

The average viewer who bought canelo fight really missed out on this on e

Lol. First five rounds to Maidana? You can't be serious.

The rematch, if it happens, could do pretty good numbers though. Could do Ortiz return numbers or a little more. They'll sell it as Mayweather's closest fight ever, though Castillo I still was. I felt Castillo won the first fight.
