Gambler makes a good point -- at least fanboys are posting about someone they like. Incessant posting about someone you hate is obsessive and gay. Means you love them. Thin line between love and hate they say.
Which group is more pathetic and ridiculous within boxing fans?

i debunk this using that poster Cu****uy or something...he's a fanboy that i RARELY see hate on other fighters...he supports his guys and doesn't get into flame wars...we need more guys like that on this boardComment

Cu****uyNYC - great poster. But I wouldn't call him a fanboy - sure he supports his fighters but to be a fanboy I think you have to be more than that, you would defend your guy(s) no matter what, argue greatly for them, etc. I haven't seen him do that.
I try to act similarly - I have a group which I generally support mainly, but I just attempt to ignore the trolls and haters, and if I argue I try to make valid points or debate, and always try to follow boxing as much on the whole as I can. That's the way I think it should be - support your guys, but respect the sport and try to keep learning about it as much as possible. Hating is pathetic and is disrespectful to the guys who dedicate their lives to this sport - if the haters can't live with what they do - why not feel free and go out there and do better?Comment

He's the only guy that's a cuban boxing fan that doesn't call everyone a "bum" "hypejob" if their fighters are fighting bums what does that make them?Comment

Hahahaha, I forgot to list you as an example in my first post. You do realize Cliff Rold is a writer here and one of the most knowledgeable guys you could hope to come across right?
To call him a hater just shows your lack of knowledge of the sport, and really exposes you as a fanboy because you can't take a proper guy's opinion on your favourite fighter.
CRold is a joke and should not be considered anything legitimate.
Just because he's a writer doesn't mean he doesn't have a misguided opinion.
He's one of the biggest haters on here, he just goes about it a different way.
The guy is a bias idiot who really doesn't have the mental faculties to know it. He has really convinced himself that he's not biased. It shows how out of touch with reality he is.
And if you want to know how much he actually knows about boxing, look no further than his prediction record.Comment

I would say overall the haters are worse depending on why they hate the fighter. I don't like some fighters like Broner because of they way they conduct themselves. Some guys hate a fighter just because other fans think that fighter is better than their favorite fighter and I think that's a poor reason to hate a fighter. When any fighter is talked about as a guy that could beat Mayweather he is going to be hated by some of the Mayweather fans. Some boxers just beg to be hated and I see nothing wrong with hating them. Other fighters like GGG and Pacquiao are kind and friendly to everyone but they get their share of hate because they are so good and a threat to other fan's favorite fighters.Comment
