They are one in the same...so in love with a certain fighter or a certain group they refuse to give anyone else any damn credit at all
Well, in my view anyway, there are far less instances of fanboys detracting much or insulting other fighters that aren't their favourites. On the other hand - haters, let's take this site for example - some will only and exclusively post and spew hate as soon as a thread comes up about said hate fighter - be that Floyd, Wlad, or others that come under fire.
At least fans like the subject they talk a lot about, they might like it a little too much but I can understand that everyone can get carried away. You might have to tread lightly with certain fans but you can have a decent conversation with a fan about the subject at hand about the guy they are a fan of.
Haters, well they are there talking smack about subjects they do not care about and openly have disdain for. That is some sad stuff, what is even worse is when they blame it on the fans because that just shows how weak they are mentally to get effected by something so totally meaningless as opposed to actually talking the subject. Trying to discuss any subject at hand about the subject they hate will go pear shaped quick with a hater~
It does get boring and repetitive...guess it depends on your sense of humour. And wouldn't you say some fanboys are 'funny' then too with the occasional B/S they spew?
You do realize Cliff Rold is a writer here and one of the most knowledgeable guys you could hope to come across right?
To call him a hater just shows your lack of knowledge of the sport, and really exposes you as a fanboy because you can't take a proper guy's opinion on your favourite fighter.
Yeah and he also included me on the list which is even worse.

Depends.
Unfortunately, some fanboys truly believe that their favourite fighter is completely unbeatable and is the best thing since Eddie Murphy's 'Raw'.
They can't fathom that said fighter isn't the best of all times etc etc and get angry and throw insults when they can't back up what they believe in.
Fanboys are more often than not just people who like a certain fighter but has no overall understanding of the sport or its history which makes their opinion less valid.
Haters are pretty funny. Look in the Pac/mayweather threads. Some of the insults are hilarious.

Don't get me wrong, it can be funny with these rivalries and rival groups winding each other up. But it's a fine line, and it is crossed by some posters...they become sort of sideshows that were funny but then begin to look really pathetic if they post the same stuff constantly, or make it their mission to just **** on particular fighters. Althought fanboys are delusional (or can be), they do at least attempt to make a thought out argument, and it's possible to debate with them and prove them wrong (even if they don't admit defeat). Haters just look really butthurt, and pathetic if they spend most of their time hating on fighters, rather than just ignoring them and focusing on the sport they apparently like.
