Which group is more pathetic and ridiculous within boxing fans?

    The FanBoys

    or

    The Haters

    ---------------------------------------
Both of these groups are widespread in our sport and really makes you question some fans and the reasons they claim to love this sport.

The question is - who is worse? The fanboys and 'nuthuggers' who often overrate and defend their heroes who can do no wrong?

Or is it the haters - the often pathetic individuals who expend all their energy into laying into fighters or groups, often as obsessively as the fanboys.

What say you, NSB - Which group is worse?

I'm going with the haters: I.e. Jabs, Dirk Diggler UK, crold, etc.

I encourage being a fan as long as it's not delusional and realistic.

They're really one and the same. Haters post more than fanboys do on the fighters they hate.

I agree. They do say it's easier to love than to hate - who's to stop someone showing support if it's for the right reasons? Just as long as said fanboy doesn't ram it down everyone's throats, and respects the sport and other fighters, as well as their favoured ones. But the haters are often spewing regurgitated nonsense and try to ram it down everyones throats, they try to spread the same hate like their life revolves around it. That's more pathetic IMO, although blind worship isn't good either.

I think its a combination of both. The haters/fanboys who ignore facts then thrive off a double standard for their particular fighter.

They are one in the same...so in love with a certain fighter or a certain group they refuse to give anyone else any damn credit at all

People who have popularised terms like "haterzz" are the most annoying.

You do realize Cliff Rold is a writer here and one of the most knowledgeable guys you could hope to come across right?

To call him a hater just shows your lack of knowledge of the sport, and really exposes you as a fanboy because you can't take a proper guy's opinion on your favourite fighter.

Fanboys by a country mile. They are definitely the more delusional breed.
