I think he was at his best up until midway through the Margarito fight. Each fight since then, he's regressed noticeably. Something in that fight aged him. His activity level dropped, less aggression and slower feet. I thought he looked sub-par against Mosley and vs JMM III. Decent in Bradley I and looked off against JMM IV until he got knocked down. Since then, it's been a cautious Manny with just enough offense to win but not finish his opponents.

Age, damage (physical/psychological) or whatever, he's clearly at the tailend of his career. I hope Roach and Manny's team acknowledge his current skillset and tailor their future strategies around them and not hoping to find the "old" Manny.
Or maybe this version although different from the kamikaze devil my cry attitude is equally effective, but a totally different way of winning fights.

Who knows, but what we can agree on is that Pac has still up to now demonstrated skill at the highest level.

Manny obviously has much more in his game rather than speed/power. If he was only about speed/power he would have many more losses on his resume.

Truth be told, Pac was always a very good counterpuncher, box fighter. But he made people so fearful of him he had to go after his opponents recklessly as they werent going after him.

Pac was so dominant for 8 years or whatever being reckless and still noone ko'd him. His luck ran out ran out after being ko'ed by JMM but that is still a testament to how great Pac was. Can you imagine Floyd be reckles for his fights and see how long he would last before being ko'ed?
He has only stoppd himself from being ko'ed because of how cautious he is.

Please stop circle jerking, Pac is past his prime so he has no other choice really.

He is one of the best from our era but he has nothing left to add sadly.

The PAC version who fought cotto, de lahoya, hatton would make them welterweight miss and carry out a beating like they stole something. PAC isn't fading, he is done, he isn't smarter, he's been psychologically scarred.
Umm, no...Roy jones after his KO loss to Tarver was done. PAC is far from done. He just beat a top 5 p4p guy (again). Floyd gets more credit for beating bums then Manny does when he is fighting top prime guys.

Pacquiao is set to a higher standards. Maybe coz being at the top they expect more from him.

Funny thing is, maidana is a 15-1 underdog to Floyd, but if floyd wins. These floydiots will go nuts and praise him like a god for winning a fight with slow quick sand feet Maidana lol

Of course he is not quite as good as he was when he was 30 because of the slow down that comes with age. He is still damn good and boxing beautifully in his last two fights.
