PAC has now evolved into a master boxer

Truth be told, this new Pac is harder to beat than the careless one over the past 5-6 years.

This version is a calculated skillful boxer/fighter.

This version isn't careless. I think this Old version of Pac is even more dangerous.

Why, coz the wild Pac can get reckless and countered. This version is a calculated risk taker, but can still turn on the after burners when needed. He can lit you up when the right Timing comes. He picks his shots very well. Uses angles well and his defense has improved tremendously.

Still fast, hits hard, great foot work. He's now the kind that dismantles an opponent 1 round at a time.

Overall a more complete fighter. Not a pure boxer, but a boxer/fighter

Manny has slowly gotten better in terms of pure boxing and ring IQ, since his days at feather when all he did was jab, jab, straight left 1000x in a row..

But he is still far from a master class boxer... Jmm proved that the last 2 times they fought. And I highly doubt manny would be able to just purely box vs guys like Floyd, rigo, ward, serg, etc

I don't know about master boxer...but he has certainly evolved into a different fighter out of necessity. And the results look pretty damn good so far.

It's like a once upon a time young pitcher that used to blow away everybody with overpowering fastballs...but aged and now has to get guys out with location.

Some guys can't evolve or adjust when they lose their bread & butter, but it appears Manny is not one of those guys.

Excellent thread. I do miss the old Pac though, I liked how reckless he was even though it ended up taxing him (against a roided fighter though).

However, he has evolved into a wiser version of himself. He used to rely on speed and power mostly and now is implementing patience and intelligence into his attack. There is a good reason why Floyd doesn't want to fight Pacquiao, he is an all around monster.

Exactly, his ring I.Q has improved. His patient like a shark who hunts for the kill.

Very composed boxer/fighter who doesn't get rattled. Shows his experience and his evolution as a fighter. His precise and calculated. Now that's a deadly combination.

I agree man, the way he has mastered blocking punches with his face/chin the last two years is admirable.
