He's not as reckless, isn't limited to just his left and has a little better defense but to think that the 2014 version of Manny is better than 2008 version is wrong.

I think he was at his best up until midway through the Margarito fight. Each fight since then, he's regressed noticeably. Something in that fight aged him. His activity level dropped, less aggression and slower feet. I thought he looked sub-par against Mosley and vs JMM III. Decent in Bradley I and looked off against JMM IV until he got knocked down. Since then, it's been a cautious Manny with just enough offense to win but not finish his opponents.

Age, damage (physical/psychological) or whatever, he's clearly at the tailend of his career. I hope Roach and Manny's team acknowledge his current skillset and tailor their future strategies around them and not hoping to find the "old" Manny.

I wouldn't call him a master boxer but hes way more cautious wich I like at this stage of his career. Manny still has flaws but his boxing IQ is underrated. Even Roy Jones was saying Pac defense was very good. Pac will never be a defensive fighter but I think that KO reminded him that hes a bit past prime and it was time to box more. No more 80-100 punches a round. Feint, head movement, nice footworks will win him fights. It sucks thst he went full ****** on JMM cause he was boxing very good before the KO. Pac is the man and you will always have haters who will try to downgrade what he has accomplished, but to come back from a devastating KO and win a title by wide UD vs a top 5 P4P is very impressive. To all Manny haters... no matter what u guys think or say.. Manny will be in the history books has one of the best fighter ever. Hes a true ATG. No need to feel unsecure everytime someone praises Manny skill.

If you look up "Master Boxer" in the dictionary in 10 years, you'll see a picture of Manny Pacquiao

He can box, fight toe to toe, has amazing head movement and feints, fast feet, beautiful combinations, outstanding defense, great stamina, etc.

If Pac wanted to, he would be hit less often than Rigo but no one wants to pay to see that style. Pac is willing to trade to give the fans excitement which is what the sport needs.

Marquez said this manny is easier to time easier to see what he is doing . So this boxing version of pack would get owned by floyd and jmm . The old reckless pac stands a great chance against either
Then Marquez should fight him for 5x what he's making vs Alvarado, and a shot at that 5th belt he said he was sticking around for

                  He's a smarter fighter but I wouldn't say a "master boxer"

I maybe wrong, but to be in the top level of the sport. You have to have both. I believe in this stage of his career he is both a great boxer and a great fighter all wrapped up into an amazing boxer/fighter.

He is not a pure boxer. He mixes them both. Making him an exciting fan friendly boxer.

19 years in pro boxing. The man has a doctorate in pugilism.
