This version isn't careless. I think this Old version of Pac is even more dangerous.

Why, coz the wild Pac can get reckless and countered. This version is a calculated risk taker, but can still turn on the after burners when needed. He can lit you up when the right Timing comes. He picks his shots very well. Uses angles well and his defense has improved tremendously.

Still fast, hits hard, great foot work. He's now the kind that dismantles an opponent 1 round at a time.

Overall a more complete fighter. Not a pure boxer, but a boxer/fighter
No offense dude, but if you honestly believe that Pac is a "Master Boxer", then not only do you need to be exposed to boxing on the higher levels, but also don't know shit about boxing.

    Sorry truth hurts ......

Yup, BOXING beautifully. You just have to look at Bradley's and Rios eyes to see they have been humbled. And to see fear in there eyes says it all.

I am not a Floyd fan but Maidana is no bum and I think the odds makers went a bit crazy after Floyd's great showing last fight. I would make Floyd a solid 6 to 1 favorite but Maidana is too dangerous to be a 15 to 1 underdog.

You can't be in the top 5 of the p4p if your not a a great boxer. And to be in the top for so many years. and 4 lineal champion, 8 division champ. you cant do that if your not great. PAC is not a pure boxer, but he is a master boxer/fighter now.

He is both. That makes him great. To an untrained eye you will see a a fighter, but if you look closely there is mad science in his boxing skills.

You can't be called a phenom if he hasn't dismantled top dogs which he has. If you don't think his a master boxer. When this sport is called boxing. And he has been on the p4p boxing standings for so many years now, and. Now he has chosen to box more coz of his age. If you can't see that he is a master boxer/ fighter. Then you my friend is the one who don't know shiiit about boxing. You can't be in the top 5 p4p best fighters of the world (the world- when there are thousands of boxers out there) if you don't know boxing. Not to mention top dog for so many years. (P4p number 1)

Lastly, 19 yrs of pro boxing. That's a doctorate in boxing in itself.

Check out the vid. You'll learn something.

You have a power puncher against a master technician who never gets hit cleanly. Maidana has no chance but a fluke lucky punch. Anything under 10-1 would be crazy.

Pacquiao is a master boxer. He may not be the typical traditional textbook master boxer, but more importantly, he is a pioneer and master of his own unique style that only Marquez has been able to solve.

There are other master boxers out there too who are too frightened to test themselves against Pacquiao's mastery because their fathers understand they did not expect a guy like Pacquiao to exist and could do nothing to prepare their children other than convince them to duck him.

I don't think he has evolved at all recently. He simply is fighting more careful now, like he did with De La Hoya. The only difference between the Pac now and the Pac 4 years ago, is he is less of a risk taker, and he has to be.

He's improved but he gets hit easy too much to be considered a master boxer. He is definitely a special fighter overall though.

By this standard, Marquez is definitely not a master boxer whatsoever
