Why are you so mad still?

Yea it is, you said he was making 26 around then and even based on what you said taking it as fact 29 is more, so that is his market value, you know what market value really means what can you make with your next best choice.

That 27% is where you only get a small raise, say Manny only pays half that and gets a bit under 35, that would be more than a 1/3 raise and 9 million total which is not chump change.

You don't know what they split or what Manny truly made either, Top Rank is a privet company for a reason so he doesn't have to disclose stuff like that.

    • Basically Floyd wanted Manny to work FOR him instead with him. If I was Manny I'd want what he's having too.

Well no fcuking kidding the purse is dependent on the magnitude of the fight and what its likely to gross. Else maybe Floyd should get a two dollar raise over his Guerrero purse for Pac. The Floyd fight is much much bigger than Jmm 3,4 so it should bring proportionate purse.

I dont know if 27% is true but its a widely accepted figure with 100s of links. Your cohorts spent years arguing Arum makes a huge cut off his fighters. You should have chimed in then with your wisdom

Bottom line Floyd is giving Pac a smaller pot to split with Tr than they split for the Jmm fights. Thats pathetic but keep defending this clown act as long as it makes you sleep better

You were trumpeting market value, his market value by your numbers was 26 that is what the market paid him. What you think or he thinks his value is is moot, because his value is what he gets or can possibly get~

So how often do you listen to those people, I am going to guess not at all except in this one case or maybe a couple more you can pretzel twist to fit your argument. Also I am not them~, I am talking to you no one else and no one speaks for me here but me

Once again you don't know that, you are making that up.

I am pretty happy with my argument, with the way you jump around the points, name calling, trying to look smart and you getting upset at my point of view. So if you want to see pathetic take a quick look in the mirror broham~

Why? Pac doesnt get to work WITH anyone because Arum is his boss. He works FOR people not with. Floyd is supposed to handle the promotion, have the venue, date, AND guarantee Pac 40 million? Floyd offered Pac more than Arum ever has given him thats the bottom line. You can twist it and spin it on how much Pac has to give his company but thats his problem. Tr wouldnt be inolved and would still take a large chunk...

We can argue about alleged 26 mil from Arum (lol) which could be after the cut or before. He still got KOd for less than 40....

Pac is trying to get the kind of money Floyd is getting without having a hand in putting in the work backstage. If I'm the A side and Im bringing everything else to the table and all you have to do is show up and fight you better believe youre getting a much much lower cut. Especially if youve never made that kind of money or have sold as much... It's really simple.

Lets not kid ourselves, pac cant get 40 fighting anyone not named Floyd where Floyd can get that type of money without Pac. There seems to be a pretty big discrepancy in what both are making...

People go on and on about each fighter making over 100 mil each fight but thats never happened... The biggest fight ever didnt bring in that kind of money to the fighters, and Floyd as a dude with "no promoter" didnt get nearly that much in his last fight which was absolutely huge. There's going to be a big gap in between what both would have earned because they are not equals on the business side of things... Thats the bottom line. Ones bringing a knife to a gunfight.

              great post.

pac has never made a guarantee of 40 million, but floyd has been paid that amount.

pac will never see another offer like he had in 2010 50/50 or 2012 40 million. he might be lucky to see 20 million now.

              • in 2009 to 2010 is 50-50 is FAIR

but now that Pac got kayoed by JMM.

it should be 65-45 for Floyd in everything including the PPV.

I really hope Floyd changes his mind and fight. all logic points to him winning.... BUT i really like to see it. Pac might have that one last BIG surprise.

I don't think 55-45 is even feasible at all... Floyd has only become a bigger success while Pac has gone down. Even back then 50-50 was generous but just the way business works Pac will never get as much as Floyd if they fight. Their guarantee could have been similar but take home and ppv would probably be pretty disproportionate.

Still, 50-50 was a strong...STRONG offer. 40 mil guarantee is not a bad offer either (remember Pac had that dubious decision over JMM then "lost" to Bradley). The offer could have been better but the upside outdoes the bad. If Pac won imagine the purses he could be taking home? In a rematch? He wouldnt have to have bothered getting high light reeled or fighting Rios or Bradley... He could be chillin' right now.

Floyd didn't want the fight. (see below) Any counter-offer by Manny's team always gets a negative reaction from Floyd's side. Why is that? Well, because Floyd and company was not interested in fighting Manny.

Going by the below timeline, Floyd couldn't have fought Manny EVER!!!
                      - "I'm not interested in fighting Manny" - Floyd in 2010
                      - "Floyd needs a few tune-ups before taking on Manny" - Uncle Roger in 2011 (remember that Floyd fought only once in 2011 and once in 2012)
                      - "I'm not interested in fighting Manny" - Floyd in 2013/2014!

REPORT States: Manny would agree to a 55/45 split in Floyd's favor and do random drug testing"

Ellerbe responds "Manny can't tell Floyd SH$T!!!
Manny has no say in the terms. Floyd will demand at least 60-40 if not more"
