40 million fair deal or a bad joke(debate)?

Paulie doesn't even make that much in one night probably in two fights neither do all but the top 10 boxers in earnings really but that doesn't mean they are scrubs just not big stars.
If Manny wanted a bigger raise he should have continued the conversation or at least has his team actually look into it.
Great intelligent post though, lolComment

You do realize the difference right~
Why do you hang on all this Top Rank bull**** and spin like it is something meaningful, do you realize how dumb this looks especially when you are trying to act superior~Comment

How is 40 million guaranteed a slap in the face when one has never made more than 28 million, and furthermore, NO BACK END MONEY WAS DISCUSSED? Manny was getting 8 million on fight night, he was about to get 20 million wired to him way before the fight. If that was a flat fee (the 40 million) then yeah thats a slap in the face, but with no back end discussed, Manny would have come close to doubling his highest payday if not surpassing it.Comment

That was an offer to some random media members, not an actual conversation with Floyd or anyone on his team~

If he was serious he should have talked to Floyd or someone representing him, even that would be better than what they actually did (which was nothing) because at least it would be a counter offer to try and come to a middle ground. Then maybe you would have some kind of point
40 million was a fair market based offer, but it was a first offer so Manny should have declined (always decline the first offer) because there was more to be had but they didn't try at all. That is all on Top Rank or Team Manny.
Instead you play the victim Manny card that you continue to play to this day , giving him a pass for doing absolutely nothing with what was a big offer instead of ever holding them accountable for anything.Last edited by The Gambler1981; 04-17-2014, 04:54 PM.Comment

It was never offered to him, it was just something Arum said to spin, which you obviously liked because how many times have you brought up that meaningless garbage in this conversation.

Put it this way. Floyd is saying heres 40m, split it with Arum. They split more than that for either Jmm 3and 4, same old fights nobody cared much about coming up. Stop playing ****** dudeComment
