How many trainers has Cotto had? His dad, Diaz, Steward, Roach, etc.

Roach is going to instruct him to be more aggressive which will play into exactly what Mayweather wants him to do. Throwing those left hooks to the head and body which will leave him susceptible to the straight right and uppercuts.

Also watch the first fight, whenever Mayweather used lateral movement Cotto looked befuddled or outclassed in the middle of the ring. The only time he had success was with his jab or against the ropes, and Mayweather SR aint having that rope-a-dope mess.

Cotto did well in my eyes when he made Floyd lead sometimes and use his own skills, counters and jabs....he wont fight like that with Roach in his corner and it will play into Mayweather's hands

Cotto ain't no Martinez as much as his fans want Cotto to be this superb boxer but he ain't. He's good but when put against the top of the chain he struggles and can't deliver. Pacquiao's lil ass had Cotto dropping. Martinez is going to out box and beat Cotto to a pulp. Sleep on Martinez but dude put heads to bed waaaay bigger and stronger than Cotto. He even took bigger punches than Cotto can deliver. Trout showed why Cotto shouldn't be in with the big boys.

Jose Luis Castillo..... The same guy everyone says beat Mayweather the first time got an immediate rematch and beat soundly. So you are WRONG.

          Yeah he's new I guess...

On topic though Floyd got a bloody nose but won fairly easily it wasn't close 9-3... changing trainers isn't going to do anything, though it makes money so maybe he will do it....if Cotto beats Sergio.

If Cotto beats Sergio convincingly then you can rest assured that Mayweather will want none of him despite having already beat him.

Any real threat to his undefeated record is a big no-go.

Wasn't Jose Luis Castillo a threat to Mayweather's undefeated record but Floyd immediately fought him again.

To late in the game for rematches especially while he is chasing money.

I think a Mayweather rematch would be great if Cotto can beat Martinez.
