If I had started following professional boxing 5 years ago, I would swallow the fallacy that Miguel has been the toughest fight for Floyd. However, I remember that Jose Luis Castillo really defeated Mayweather in their first fight (although Floyd won clearly the rematch) and obviously Floyd is never going to accept that first fight with Castillo should have been his only defeat instead of having an spurious or false "undefeated" record.
Very true but Floyd fans get all butt hurt when you tell them Castillo out landed him by over 100 punches
Because it's almost like Marquez KTFO Pacquiao and then seeing Mayweather-Marquez 2.
I fail to see the comparison. Marquez was never competitive against Floyd. He was always competitive with Pacquiao. Cotto by Floyds own account gave him the toughest fight of his career.
and I quote the great Floyd Mayweather himself. ..
"Uppercuts, hooks, uppercuts, hooks. Mother***a made me want to retire"
"That was a he'll of a fight. You a he'll of a fighter. Your a legend"
Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach is hoping that former three division world champion Miguel Cotto (38-4, 31KOs) secures a rematch, at some point, with Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26KOs).
Cotto gave Mayweather a serious run for his money in May of 2012, but ultimately lost a twelve round unanimous decision. Mayweather called it the "toughest fight" of his career. At the time Cotto was trained by Cuban trainer Pedro Diaz, but last year the Puerto Rican star switched over to Roach.

not after the arse whipping Cotto is gonna be receiving from Martinez.
Nothing will be different, just want an easy pass at a title against a guy he already beat
Why are you making it sound like Floyd is the one who want a rematch with Cotto? Now, i know Floyd is an opportunist and is probably hoping Cotto can win the MW belt, but i don't really think he's thinking about moving up in weight right now. I hope Martinez beats Cotto though. I don't like rematches, I'd prefer Mayweather-Martinez even though Floyd wouldn't take the fight.
You can make room if you would take that Bobfather sig out.. Its business man..

I sig'd it but let's cover all bases. What if Sergio gets a TKO or the fight is stopped. Does this count as a KO? Or does Cotto head have to be put out? A TKO is still a stoppage.
