      Key word being "Next".

      Well, again, that's not true.
I'm not claiming that was the plan for him, just that this is what ended up actually happening. He was featured on the undercard to increase his name value and his next fight ended up being Pacquiao.

It's literally a sentence that can't be recovered from but these idiots will try.

I like to add context. For others their brain can't compute much. Say "duck" and call it a day.

What context do you draw from the sentence "What if I lose to Amir Khan?"

As I already said, anything is possible and every boxer including mayweather probably thinks about the consequences of losing their next fight and have a plan for it,bradley made the right choice because there was a slight possibility he could have lost to khan and as said before regarding the "anything is possible" khan might not look like a newborn deer in his next fight.

So even things that seem certain like bradley whooping khan and khan getting blitzed next time he fights a credible fighter might not happen

                  Really, this isn't that difficult.

Bradley's contract with Shaw expired one month before the proposed Khan fight. Let's say Bradley loses a controversial decision. Or it's a robbery. Or it's a damn good fight with Khan winning but Bradley proving himself to be dangerous. Either way, he has nothing to fall back on if that occurred and has no backing to get a rematch or any other big match without the possibility of getting screwed at the negotiating table.

It's so ****** to think fighters at that level don't make moves based on anything other than finances. I don't know about you but I'm pretty much the same way when it comes to my vocation.

It's EXACTLY the relevant point. You can't say that because the possibility of a better fight exists some unknowable point in the future, that ducking someone isn't a duck. That's ridiculous.
