The fact is that the stars had aligned for the two of them to fight but Bradley avoided the Khan fight because in his own words it was "too risky" to fight Khan. He admitted that "if I lose to Khan I'm out of the Pacquiao/Mayweather sweepstakes".

It's basically one of the most undeniable ducks in the history of boxing because Bradley admitted in his own words during a recorded radio interview that the Khan fight was too risky and that there was a real threat he could lose. If that isn't ducking then nothing is. I would go so far as to say you could use the Khan-Bradley situation as the definition of ducking.

He had no chance of an immediate Pacquiao fight and didn't fight Khan because he might lose. Not fighting someone because you "might" get a bigger fight in a years time is a lame excuse that any fighter could use.

He got the fight so it is not an excuse it is a REASON. I am pretty sure without the switching manager/fighting Manny issues he would have fought Khan. Financially he made the right descision.
Khan not fighting Alexander in the hope of fighting Mayweather has not worked out so well. I am pretty sure if Khan had not painted himself into a corner by his Mayweather fight obsession he would have fought Alexander also.

He did what he had to do. Kinda sucks we didnt see the Khan vs Bradley fight but he did what he had to do to big up his career and hindsight he made a great decision. He considered one of the very elite boxers today although I personally dont think highly of him but he did earn his shot to be up there.

Tim wasn't ducking Khan. He was ducking the contract extension that came with that generous offer from Shaw. We all know how promoters work.

Bradley has gone on to do very well for himself since but he may have done just as well if he fought Khan. He could still have gone on to face Pacquiao after Khan.

Everyone knows that the only way you can get a Pacquiao fight is to join Top Rank. Shane Mosley had to do it and so did Marquez.

Bradley just did what he had to do.

And you can't say a guy is ducking if he goes on to fight a tougher opponent than the guy he supposedly ducked!
