Bradley's contract with Shaw expired one month before the proposed Khan fight. Let's say Bradley loses a controversial decision. Or it's a robbery. Or it's a damn good fight with Khan winning but Bradley proving himself to be dangerous. Either way, he has nothing to fall back on if that occurred and has no backing to get a rematch or any other big match without the possibility of getting screwed at the negotiating table.
It's so ****** to think fighters at that level don't make moves based on anything other than finances. I don't know about you but I'm pretty much the same way when it comes to my vocation.
