To all my boxingscene business men. How much more is Adonis making for BHOP than Kov?

Whats 40% less than 1.75 mil? Thats what HBO offerred for a kov fight.

They were going to give adonis that 1.75 mil if he would only agree to a kov fight. He refused.

That said, what i get out of all this is HBO wouldve offered
Adonis the same hes getting for a b hop fight if he didnt flat out refuse the kov fight

So i take this as a no. U havr no idea what adonis will makr as the a-side with kov than as the b-side with hop.. for all we know, adonis could be making the same.

I could have sworn I said I have no clue what any of these fighters are making at the moment..Then I gave you what I did know,which was B-Hop is a far better fight overall then Kov,and Stevenson would have fought Fonfara no matter what..

They'll just match him up with Stevenson then the winner to Hopkins.

The big problem is if he loses to Fonfara....which is only possible if the Polish Prince pushes Stevenson and not just move backwards the whole fight like Bellew

Stevenson has a lot of flaws. Pushing him back will take away some of his power. Also, Stevenson plays checkers. He only has a straight left. Athleticism helps him avoid punches . By playing checkers, I mean he will let you know his gameplan right off the bat and tell you he is looking to land the straight left every step you step in. Telegraphs his punches. Loads up on his punches. His corner even tells him to do that in between rounds which I find amateurish. Steward did teach him to be way more patient though.

He's beatable for sure. Hopkins gonna have to pull out a Pascal-like performance. Stevenson is packing glass so if Hopkins doesn't get old, he can knock him down a few times.

Cause I believe he would have fought Fonfara either way..Then moved on to fight either Kov or B-Hop,looks like he choose to fight Hop..This is not that hard to understand,and has been done for a long time in boxing bro..

He chose Fonfara over Kovalev, a fighter who brings in much less money and no belt. You're re-defining what actually happened in history. The most lucrative option was Kovalev and then Hopkins, not fonfara and Hopkins. Its not a hard concept to understand if you passed 1st grade

And yes ducking has been done for a long time in boxing, agreed.

It appeared to me that Haymon-Stevenson are asking HBO to accept a deal which HBO will certainly refuse, a pricier Fonfara fight without the guarantee of a Kovalev fight. It's like adding insult to injury.

Put it this way, Kovalev is unproven to me but obviously has power. Stevenson has skills and power in his left.

I think style wise, Stevenson gets KTFO if tagged. Why? His hands are always low...

However I find that fight much more exciting than Hopkins VS Anyone TBH LOL.
