OMG you seriously can't be this ******. It's impossible.
What don't you understand about the fact that Haymon/Stevenson REFUSED to accept a Kovalev fight so that's why HBO didn't match Showtime's offer?
It had nothing to do with Showtime's money. Get that out of your dense little head. Do you really think that Showtime's pockets are deeper than HBO's?? I mean seriously.
Do you really believe that HBO couldn't match a Stevenson - Fonfara fight offer? Haymon would only negotiate for one fight. That's it. He refused to even consider a Kovalev fight even if HBO gave Haymon/Stevenson the world.
You can't possibly be this ****** yet making fun of my username at the same time. I go through this every time with you. It's beginning to be a bit annoying.
Listen genius. Haymon only offered one fight which was the one with Fonfara. Showtime outbid HBO and that is a fact. That HBO WOULD have bid more if another fight was added to the pot is irrelevant. The seller (Haymon) only wanted to sell one fight.
So Showtime offered more for the Fonfara fight than HBO right?
If person A in an auction offers more money for a commodity than person B it is equivalent of person A outbidding person B.
Its not a particularly difficult concept genius.
Thread and broken down to it's simplest form..It's clear it's about money..Oh and a shot at B-Hop..If anyone does not believe a fight with Hop is going to happen,I'll take that bet..

Its still a clear duck though. Superman had agreed to terms but suddenly for some reason got cold feet, hired Haymon and instructed him to strike a deal not involving Kovalev.

I don't agree it was a duck at all..Stevenson would have fought this fight anyway,as most fighters get the throw away fight..Then fought Kov or someone else..If you ask me which fight I'd rather see,it's Stevenson B-Hop..Let Kov fight Pascal..

Critical Thinking... you should try using it sometime

According to Stevensons promotor Michel, everything was agreed upon for a Kovalev fight. Suddenly Stevenson hires Haymon who shops the Fonfara fight to Showtime leaking Kovalev hanging out to dry. A duck cannot get much clearer than that.
You wanting to see Stevenson fighting Hopkins rather than Kovalev is your choice. I know very well which fight I want and that does not involve a boring, dirty old age pensioner.

Yeah that happened already. Stevenson fought Bellew and Kovalev fought Silakh on the same card. Obviously a set up for them to fight. Why ANOTHER tune-up?
