I never cared for this Adonis and Frankenstein fight....but I always felt like Franky would've iced him....I don't know what he's taking to the bank, purses never really concern me anyway.....BHop must bring more bread than Frankenstein though....casual boxing heads know the old fox....only hardcore heads are hip to Frankenstein

A smart business man would have taken the kovalev fight as agreed then went over and fought Hopkins-shumenov winner.......that's 2 big paydays as opposed to fighting fonfara then Hopkins.

That's just me and every true boxing fans opinion

And for those saying he gets 3 belts , my way he gets all 4.

IMO it's about more then just money..B-Hop is clearly the top of the div,and on Stevenson's resume will be the better name..Kov is very unproven,and I still say will be trouble by Pascal..

Why is that? How do you justify Hopkins being the top of the division when Stevenson holds that honour and the so called lineal title?

Hopkins has best resume , ring iq
Stevenson most athletic and holds lineal title - he beat the man who beat the man

Some posters here are getting the facts wrong. As I understand it, Stevenson was always going to fight Fonfara. On HBO it would have been a showcase fight along with Kovalev fighting Agnew.

Stevenson then switched to Showtime as they offered a better purse for the Fonfara fight.

So what Stevenson chose was a higher purse for Fonfara and a chance for a Hopkins fight. What he left behind was Fonfara on HBO and an agreed upon fight against Kovalev.
