lol you have 2 rounds of total domination by Ward and youre saying that Kessler wobbled Ward and gave him his toughest fight. Youre freaking pathetic, like 95% of posters on this site.
Still dont know why im arguing with a danish about a fight involving Kessler. It's like arguing with PacBoy about Pac. Im out Peace
Show me where I said that Kessler gave Ward his toughest fight.
i don't agree with your assements of any of these fights but even if calzaghe did beat a better version of kessler that doesn't mean kessler is a better overall fighter than froch. you seem to be using some sort of head to head triangle logic. jermain taylor "beat" a more prime version of hopkins and easier than calzaghe therefore taylor is better than calzaghe? i don't get it. when comparing fighters you have to look at their entire careers not just how they did against 1 opponent.
I rate Calzaghe very highly. He was nightmare to deal with in the ring. Awkward Southpaw with amazing stamina and threw thousands of punches with speed. His ring generalship was also top notch.
Would have been sick to watch Ward-Calzaghe back then. Joe out of all the SMW today and back then would have been a serious threat to ward.
Me too, people go on about him having no power but leave out the fact that he was very fast and awkward and those so called slaps were coming from everywhere. Im sure anybody that fought him would say he was difficult to deal with, I think a lot of people don't like the fact that he retired undefeated for some reason.
not saying he is wrong (even though i do think so) but he is obviously way too biased to be taken seriously. he just couldnt get over losing to ward and has been bitter and resentful towards him ever since. dont pretend it isnt true..
Joe had hand troubles in the later end of his career, when he was still in his prime. And I think that's the reason for the slapping, but had his hands been ok in the latter end, I think he would have beaten ward for sure.
