Kessler tells who's greater. Calzaghe or Ward.

Nah. He couldn't spar because of a broken hand. It was surgically repaired after the fight.

Maybe, but that didnt hinder him throwing his shots. Kess was not holding back at all. He was better in that fight and history should reflect that way. He was not himself for the Ward fight. I give Ward credit, but no way was he as good as Joe IMHO.

        Agreed.

I'd Pick Calzaghe over Ward as well.

He didn't dominate Bika and he cheated against Kessler, giving him full credit for the Kessler win, as you do, shows your biased. Blinded by the red, blue and white?

Anybody can see Joe has more rhythm, skills and natural ability.

Joe Calzaghe travelled to a foreign country, moved up in weight to fight the champion at 175 and won his second Ring belt.

Andre Ward was too much of a cowardly b1tch to fight Chad Dawson at 175. He insisted Chad weight-drain down to 168 and made sure the fight was in Oakland in case he needed to use illegal tactics and so he could be sure he wouldn't be tested for PEDs.

i am aware, but the bottom line is his best win is carl froch. i dont see anything fantastic about his resume. then you look at their skillset and if anybody thinks ward has a better skillset than rigondeaux then you have to wonder what the hell they are smoking!

also, donaire was p4p number 5 apparently when rigondeaux schooled him in just his 12th pro fight. i dont see any p4p fighters on wards resume.

It's hard to say either way, but lets put it this way, Calzaghe entertained me far more than Andre Ward ever has. Calzaghe was exciting, Ward puts you to sleep

Calzaghe had already defended his WBO title 12 times by the time he was 30. Ward has only defended his WBA title a whopping 6 times up until today.

Ward isn't as great as people want to believe he is, 2 of his best wins came against guys that Joe already beat up.
Joe's best wins came against 2 fighters in the twilight of their careers. Cal is very overrated imo based on resume but his skill set, awkwardness and speed would allow him to compete against nearly anyone prime for prime. With that being said, Ward resume trumps Cal's already.

Yeah because Hopkins didn't continue to do amazing stuff.
