When Lara fights Angulo, Lara has balls, Angulo is a tough fighter and Lara has the balls to get up from those 2 KD's.

But when Canelo fights and completely destroys Angulo, he has no balls. He's cherry picking etc.

The ONE knock I had on Canelo is that he was fighting small fighters coming up but that was Golden Boys fault. I respected him as soon as I saw him put his foot down at the age of 21 and demand bigger fights. He wants to fight for his legacy, Golden Boy just wants him to be a star that makes them money. He fought Trout, Mayweather and now Angulo. I can see him fighting Lara(winning isnt impossible) and then moving up to wipe out Martinez, become lineal champion and then grab Quillins belt.

BUT what comes after that? because of the cold war opponents will be limited at 160.. hes moving too fast for his age which is why he needs to fight the Laras of the world on the side instead of always taking marketable fights because theres not many marketable fighters to pair him with.

How do I have mikey and mares on there? hmmmm maybe because they are actually multiple division champs who beat top contenders to get there unlike Lara, loses to Molina and draws with vanes, then gets a title shot vs Angulo who has somehow a monster before Lara fought him and of course lara "ruined" angulo so he wasn't the same vs Canelo. LOL Canelo has bigger fish to fry, but if Lara does get through Ishe convincingly in a great fashion like canelo did in his last fight then the fight will happen if your dreamboy will get KTFO.

Because Canelo himself was coming off a loss. You know when most fighters come off their first career loss they usually have comeback fights.

DLH fought Cooley
Hatton fought Lazcano.
Pavlik fought Rubio
Ortiz fought Diaz


All guys who try to come bounce back from a loss by fighting what people consider weaker opposition.
