Lara has a fight with a very weak very limited Ishe Smith. Lara needs to impress in that fight by going for the KO and show that he himself has balls in the ring, before he starts commenting on other fighters balls.

Im new here, so maybe you just threw me into that group that believe Lara is the best fighter and stuff but thats not where im coming from. I want to see the fight because I personally find it intriguing and that fight would tell us whos truly #1 in the division. Its like the Matty-garcia fight except it wont be for all the marbles.. Floyd messed up the division by grabbing titles he has no intention of defending again, I think hes finished at 154.

I havent seen anyone look good against Ishe Smith, I think he dug himself a hole taking the fight while trying to get a Canelo fight but he couldnt sit the shelf waiting ala Amir Khan.

I also want to see this fight to show that Lara isn't "great" like people say he is. I just don't know how lara can get chewed up and spat out vs Angulo and go life and death with Molina and Vanes and consider him #1 at JMW. Ask most of these clowns on here with their trillions of points who they think the #1 at JMW is (not inlc. may) and 99% will say its Lara. He has to start fighting the real opponents, not the more suitable ones. The same to Mickey Garcia. You sounded like another Canelo fanboy haha. I like Canelo and Lara. Wasnt his fault Williams crashed, Ortiz got KOd and Kirkland has a broken Shoulder. I also like Floyd.. I dont always like the decisions he makes but I appreciate the skill. He messed up 154 but he also left it wide open when the titles are vacated and the up and comers come into their own in the next year or two.

Hes not picking easy fights. He has called out Williams, Ortiz, Kirkland(In the past) then Mayweather, Cotto and Martinez and picked Angulo over Molina. I believe hes protected by Golden Boy ofcourse because thats their investment but hes been putting his foot down because he doesnt feel like he needs to be babied. With that said I believe now is the time to fight Lara.

Not knocking him for taking the Ishe Smith fight, and Ishe Smith can be an ugly fight for anyone. But Lara is the one who needs to look good. Even if he doesn't get the KO, he still needs to seek it. Needs to impress, and show that he has the balls to take a risk and hurt his opponent.
