This would be HUGE and he would leap on P4P fights.. it adds so much to his legacy but its ironic that his fans dont want that and rather bash a fight against Lara. I see nothing wrong with people being so confused at why Canelo wouldnt want the Lara fight.. its confusing.
Won't happen because he has too many haters. Too many people who want to discredit the guy. That is why no matter who he beats, people will find a way to discredit him or the opponent.

People are so desperate to have him lose again they're claiming Lara is a top 10 p4p fighter which to anyone should be laughable.

My point was that no matter who Canelo beats people will say he's ducking someone else.

Resume speaks for itself. If Canelo captured the WBA title, moved up and won the lineal world title, doesnt matter what haters say.. I think he stops Martinez and even stops him if it was the Martinez from 2 years ago. Neither Canelo nor Lara are even top 15 P4P so thats not a reason to not make the fight.

LOL yah he TKO'd Alvarado the 1st time and the 2nd fight could have gone either way or it wasn't a beating. Rios came in with the game plan they were going toe to toe like the 1st fight but was thrown off by the boxing in the later rounds. either way, yes he's up there at 140 I never said #1 I said "at the top" top 5 for sure and top 3 at top rank.

So you believe hes in a similar boat as Mayweather? no matter who he beats, unification, style, fighter on a hot streak, he will never get credit for it so he should just do whats best for buisness and his brand? because Mayweather gets bashed for taking this very same approach even though he does it on a much higher level in regards to the amount of money to be made. Serious question not being a smart ass.

Canelo Alvarez fought an undefeated Austin Trout when everyone thought he wouldn't do it, and even people in his own team were begging him not too. He pulled ranked and took the fight.

He also chose to take a risk and go after the p4p best fighter in the world. When he could have easily declined on the grounds he wasn't ready for the fight yet. After all didn't Danny Garcia just get a pass for doing this?

You would think this would let people know that Canelo in no way is ducking Lara or anyone for that matter. But here you are arguing otherwise.

The difference is Mayweather actually ducked the best fighters of his career coming up. While canelo, is trying to build his way up fighting the top fighters. When he beats Lara "who people say is p4p behind may LOL" that is 3 top fighters of their divisions in 2 years. Trout, Mayweather, Lara. People just hate Canelo to hate, IDK y lol

I think the 2nd fight was a clean victory for Alvarado, by clean I mean I dont think it could have gone either way. wasnt THAT close but I agree.. he is top 5 at 140. I can live with that accessment. I was on the fence as to whether or not Prov was ducking the fight but that doesnt seem like Prov.. Thats when I came to the conclusion it was Arum not trusting Rios at 140.

Not just Mayweather, but Pacquiao, heck even DLH back in his day.
I remember people saying DLH was ducking Winky Wright and a list of other fighters.

                    It goes with the territory.

I wouldnt say fighting Mayweather is a risk. He wanted the payday and experience. How am I arguing that Canelo is ducking Lara? Im arguing why I believe the fight makes perfect sense to happen right now and I even stated it in in the posts Ive been directing at you in regards to Canelo's legacy.. Im a hater for wanting to see Lara-Canelo? me believing Lara wins is awhole different debate.
