I think Rigo is too left hand happy for someone like Floyd. I think Floyd would take that away. But if someone were to "outbox" Floyd it would be someone like Rigo.

In what ways is Rigo an 'incomplete' boxer?

no it woudn;t. it would be from an aggressive boxer who worked behind a jab and carried rounds.

thomas hearns had the boxing ability and the physical makeup to outbox floyd, and hurt and stop him along the way.

rigondeaux is a counterpuncher and negative fighter with power. he's really not a pure boxer or boxer puncher.

he takes breaks in virtually every fight. they were a hell of a lot worse a couple of years ago, and would show up against a seasoned professional like floyd mayweather.

it sounds like yall need to head back to some of rigondeaux's fights prior to donaire.

Floyd is guilty of this to. He always coasts the final 3 rounds or so.

Why would they against Floyd? It would be a slow chessmatch that would favour Rigo.

Hypothetically speaking if Rigondeaux was the same size as Floyd and Floyd had a pair of balls and got in the ring with him. Its pretty obvious to me at least Rigo makes the self proclaimed 'TBE' look ordinary.

Floyd hasn't even the balls to fight Lara who hypothetically is a watered down Rigo.

If Rigo was blown up to Floyds size and lost 80% of his godliness you'd be left with Lara.

Floyd only fights flat-footed guys these days since Roach claimed his legs had gone

I don't see pacing being an issue either. That doesn't make a lot of sense in the context of a Mayweather-Rigo fight. The absence of a really strong jab is the biggest shortcoming I would see in Rigo in this contest. The jab is the most important weapon of all against Floyd.

That said, a fast southpaw with excellent balance, footwork, and ring intellect is going to be a problem for Mayweather even without a great jab.
