Rick Glaser is a pretty well known boxing matchmaker. I'm sure he has tons connections in the industry. But like anyone else, he may be subject to some bias. He's not a journalist.

The whole thing blew up when Steve Kim mentioned it in one of his tweets on March 10, but Glaser is the first guy who said anything about it like a week before as far as I can tell so I'm inclined to believe him.

U and I both know Rick Glaser is not a credible source on anything related to Gbp. He's as shady as they come

I was wondering if anybody on the scene has heard any new info on this matter and if there indeed is a break up. How do you see it playing out. Do you think Haymon and Richard would start there own company? Would Oscar take canelo and abner mares to hbo? And what exactly do you think is causing all the problems between the banker and de la hoya? This is a potential power move that could shake up our sport even more. So let's discuss

        there own company?

That's a key point; how many shares does Oscar hold? If it's a majority, he has some pull when it comes to the direction of GBP. As for fighters he can hang on to, it not only comes down to the money and opportunities he can offer them. His stint in rehab is good for him if he emerges strong and together. That he had to go in at all makes him look weak, and could affect fighter's decision to stay with him or not. He's got to be able to present himself as a solid promoter and business man, or he may lose his fighters. The idea of ending the "feud" is excellent. Fighters and fans alike will win.

Oscar started GB with a great idea in mind. Him, Hopkins, Mosley and Barrera. A promotion ran by fighters, for the fighters. Over time GB has become Al Haymon's b*tch. He got them ran off HBO. And it looks like he's the root of the problem in this feud between Oscar and Richard. Hopefully Oscar can stay clean, take control of his company and get back on HBO and start making some fights with Top Rank.

Haymon is one su****ious character, never does interviews and lurks in the shadows like he is hiding something or up to no good.

So that's why Haymon has been signing all of these fighters.

Oscar is about to get screwed over. I hope he has a solid legal team to fight for him.

How many GB fighters are NOT signed with Haymon? Canelo for sure. Hopkins. Mares? Khan? Guerrero? Seems like Oscar could take these guys and go back to HBO and slowly re-build his roster.

Khan just signed with Al haymon, and guerrero is about to sign with him.

All Oscar has is basically Canelo and Mares, Hopkins is the swing vote, and it seems Hopkins is closer to Richard Shaeffer.

Victor Ortiz signed with Haymon, and now even Collazo.
