The rumored Gbp split! You're opinions

Now we've all heard the rumors of there being turmoil over at goldenboy. And last night on steve Kim's twitter feed there was a tweet saying it wasn't a matter of "if" oscar and Richard were breaking apart but in fact when. I was wondering if anybody on the scene has heard any new info on this matter and if there indeed is a break up. How do you see it playing out. Do you think Haymon and Richard would start there own company? Would Oscar take canelo and abner mares to hbo? And what exactly do you think is causing all the problems between the banker and de la hoya? This is a potential power move that could shake up our sport even more. So let's discuss

I don't think anything will be resolved in this coldwar if they split off and did their own thing.
We'll just have three promotional companies and more B.S preventing more fights.

      If and when....

The question with any split is who will get the kids? In this case, if it does happen, we will wonder who will get the fighters? Will court battles tie up all the fighters and keep them inactive til the terms of the separation are settled?

But that question only applies "if" it happens.

Greed is what is breaking them apart.

Shaeffer wants to be in power, now he was basically the man running GBP while Oscar got all the glory and recognition.

Oscar started golden boy to be a promotion run by fighters for fighters, his idea was too good to be true, I remember when he brought Mosley and Hopkins on board.

Oscar also wants to end the cold war, he never hated Arum, he was being told what to say and do by Richard. Richard controls Oscar pretty much and pretends to be like a big brother to him.

Al Haymon owns GBP more than Oscar or Richard

U would assume that all the Haymon fighters would leave goldenboy with Richard. So who with golden boy isn't signed with al besides canelo and abner mares.

It's assumed.... Haymon will probably advise/manage them to leave to Schaeffer. At this point, it's a loyalty.

Schaeffer has been doing everything while DLH has been in rehab.... but leaving and doing so will continue the cold war of promotions and networks.

DLH's ace in the hole is if they stay with him, he'll try to end the network and cold wars. Canelo is the big fish anyway

Those two would 've signed by him immediately after as well. I wouldn't understand that split at all. It makes no business sense.

No, mayweather is the big fish. And we know on which side of that issue he lands.

Thats what caused the friction between Oscar and Rich in the first place.

Richard and Haymon don't want to do business with Arum point blank period. They are the ones cutting ties with HBO and ARUM.

When Oscar started saying nice things to Arum and than saying lets make the fights and end this, Richard got mad. Someone asked Richard what do you think of Oscar saying these things to Arum and reaching out to work together and Richard started talking **** about Arum.
