Funny how all these people utilize their "alts" accounts to spread their hate, trash and try to push their agenda. They come out like the cucarachas that they are in real life.

Come June 8, we will see them all run away, and hide just like cucarachas do when they see the exterminator!

    #WarCotto!

panda's always been know to support cotto...not anymore

what I liked about him during his career:
        -willing to fight anybody
-fought at least 3 times a year even though he was already a star
        -always humble

all of the above seems to have changed...or he's showing his true colors

cotto might not exactly be cherry picking but he isn't fighting the best anymore either...
he fights once a year and holds out for the most lucrative options
he's acting like a diva. I read he said he had to submit to pac/floyd's demands when he fought them but I remember floyd coming in first like a challenger (correct me if I'm wrong)...

even if cotto wins he'll never be as great as trinidad was...a true fighter willing to fight anyone any time anywhere

Hes doing it now because its literally the only thing left for him to do in his career. Sergio is doing alot of talking... Cotto had to take the backseat to both manny and floyd in their fights even though HE was the champion in both. Martinez just has to deal with it.
he didn't really take the backseat when he fought floyd...and him not being ready to jump to 160 is bull****...he was considering N'Jikam instead of trout before he got beaten by quillin

Or maybe Cotto's career is coming to a close in a couple of fights. Maybe that's why he doesn't fight as much. Makes sense huh? Trinidad wasn't fighting 3 times a year at the end of his career. His last few fights were very far apart. I love Tito but the first time he got KOED he basically retired and fought sporadically. Cotto's got the better resume

You obvs know your stuff, Bud. As do I..

You say him not being ready to jump to 160 is Bull****. Martinez fougth Chavez Sepetember 15th 2012. Cotto fought Trout December 1st? 2012. Alright... MAYBE he was ready at that time. It still makes sense.. He only fought Delvin after fighting Trout.. its not like he went on to continue fighting at 154. By your logic Cotto was considering 160 around the same time Martinez fought Chavez, AFTER the chavez fight Martinez was already injured.. stay with me, so Cotto considering 160 and martinez preparing for the Chavez was all happening at the same time no? which means nomatter what(even IF Cotto was eyeing Martinez) regardless martinez would have been injured after that chavez fight and everyone would have been using the "Oh he wants to fight him NOW that martinez is injured" excuse... sooo?

Camacho, Whitaker, De la Hoya, Hopkins, Vargas(brought up too fast but was champion and had nowhere to go but up) > Cotto's resume.

If Martinez was confident in his ability to win this fight or the Golovin fight or even a Murray rematch, he could have made Cotto wait if the terms were so ****ty. This is a pay day for him. He could have taken another fight and be seen as ducking golovkin or he could have fought golovkin and never get the big pay day.Sergio took what he thought was the easiest route to money. I don't think he's sure he can beat cotto, that's why he won't shut up. fact is he won't be able to move on Cotto like he does to those slow plodding robots he's been fighting. Most of those slow plodding robots have given Sergio trouble in their fights. Cotto may not move as well as Martinez but he moves a hundred times better than Sergios previous opponents. I when Martinez loses his legacy will remain in tact as he has already master crafted his excuse. Don't be surprised if this is Martinez's last fight.

Cotto-Martinez is a better fight now than it was before, Martinez's latest performances and his injuries make it more even for the small, flawed Cotto to find more success against him. The fight would not have been fair in 2010-2012.

With that said, it's all about the money. Cotto wanted the fight that would bring him the most money. 60-40 or 70-30, what ever the split was, was gonna get him more money than the Canelo fight. Maybe he got a big split for Martinez, and was getting the lion's share against Canelo but not as big as for Martinez. Also, Canelo has a big name and fanbase so he was not gonna be bullied around in negotiations like Martinez was, with the billing, coming in first despite being champ, etc.
