Garcia vs Uchiyama would be for the legit lineal title and ring belt. The **** is wrong with HBO? They better at least put that on HBO2.

HBO execs aren't boxing guys. They are business guys. They don't know that Uchiyama is the real deal like we do. They just don't recognize him as a name that will get ratings.

One thing I like about Espinoza is that he's actually a boxing guy and enjoys the sport.

Arum and Garcia camp ( mainly Robert not Mikey)never wanted the fight. They knew everyone was asking for it so tried to make it seem like they had a legitimate interest but " Gamboa was pricing himself out" . That was suppose to be the reason for why it wouldn't happen except Gamboa shut it down yesterday when he said he'd accept "whatever ". Now they need a new reason . Bob doing damage controll trying to justify this. He needs Mikey to be a star and doesn't want to risk a loss against Gamboa who he doesn't promote . Not hard to figure out.

At least HBO isn't being fooled on this one ..

Arum did say "and Gamboa wants as much as Garcia?" during that tirade. Which leads us right back to the issue we already know; how much money is each side asking for?

I noticed that too. Gamboa could have priced himself out then changed his tune once it became apparent that Top Rank was losing interest in the fight.

I think we'll see Mikey Garcia lose pretty soon. He's swimming in a pool of sharks in Takashi Uchiyama, Yuriorkis Gamboa, Miguel Vazquez, Terrence Crawford, and Richar Abril. If Garcia got through all of them or at least 3 out of the 5 without losing then I'd definitely proclaim him one of the best pound for pound.
