That's when Gamboa suddenly reversed gears and started publicizing that he would fight for $500k but by then it was too late.

Just conjecture on my part. None of us know what really happened.
But guys, you are speculating away from arums words. His words shows that he is completely bias with Gamboa besides the money probably issue. He is vengative, resentful, rancorous with Gamboa and he want only to show Gambia he is the powerful.

This makes me glad. Gamboa did not deserve a title shot. Especially not the way they went about it on someone elses night right in the ring. It isnt WWE. And on top of that, make high demands for cash he isn't worth. Arum did the right thing. I applaud!.
Indeed it would have been a good fight. But Gamboa didn't deserve it.

This Gamboa guy is an arrogant bastard who thinks the world owes him a wonderful life. He doesn't even have the humility to accept the mistakes he did.

And I thnk most people do.
Bro anybody who says they'd rather see Garcia vs Uchiyama over Garcia/Gamboa is either a Top Rank representative or someone trying to down play this catastrophe in our sport to still try to support Garcia..

I would like to see both fights but there's is no question in the order I want to see them..

Uchiyama and Miura ain't getting any love.
Uchiyama looked vulnerable in his last fight too
That's why they want uchiyama and he is 34-35 years old...
