To answer your question, Floyd's the highest paid, highest profile, best (so they say) p4p undefeated fighter on the planet. Such fame does not exist without consequence, especially if there is any controversy involved.

Your post has merit because you expect the best to be held to a different standard. whats problematic is when you suggest he isn't the best (as you did above) then fail to hold the guy who you think is the best to the same standard as floyd or criticize that fighter in the same vein.

As for NSB, I think those responses you cite are are proportional. The problem is too many floyd fans assume every manny fan or poster that doesn't like floyd is a rascist like gong, thuggery, maniac, garcia's dad, and hectari or has a "northern european/caucasoidal" agenda like freedom, weltshmerz, eisenfaust or slimshandy.

This is what I will never understand, how are these opponents not legitimate? No one is saying these are ATG opponents, no one is saying that these guys are going to beat Floyd, what we are saying is that Floyd is fighting good opponents coming off of their best performances. What is wrong with that? We know the top rank fights aren't happening, and you can act like a little kid in a store that can't get his candy all you want and pretend like the fights are makeable but the reality is they are not. No one likes it, but we aren't gonna sit here and cry about it because it won't help anything. So, consistently beating good opponents with titles, add to the fact that Garcia and Lara (future p4p fighters) will be added to Floyd's resume, I'm totally fine with it. what are we crying about?

lol ya know, not all those posters you named are bad posters or racists. i think some just mess around and dont take this site very seriously. take me, look at my avi im a manny fan. i respect floyd its a clear fact hes a legend in the sport... some dont what can you do. theres some manny fans like me, bojangles, rome by ko, and others that give floyd alot of props.

Its not the end of the world to acknowledge that Floyd and Manny have fought some sizzle-and-no-steak-fighters in order to snatch easy paper division titles.

I agree that people should not be crapping over these type of opponents. But its equally bad to claim they are world champions.

Floyd wont fight Lara.

Lara beats Ishe, fights on Floyd's undercard in September and has another good win at 154 or get's Canelo, Floyd/Lara happens. But, only if there's more money in it than it is now.

If you're cherry picking world champions and top 3 contenders, I have no problem with it. If those fights are cherry picks, so be it. If every fight you take is a cherry pick outside of 1 man who's on the down slope of his career, so be it. I have no problem with it.

The point is to challenge yourself. I don't expect HOF fighters every time out, but there's only one fight everyone wants to see.

And I don't care about why it's not happening, that's not my problem. Blame goes all around, but in the mean time you guys keep buying into the **** from both fighters.

It's sad that we've come to expect AND accept this from the marquee participant of the ultimate competitive sport.

When Steve Nash was getting back to back MVP's he never got my recognition, clearly the best basketbal player in the world was Kobe Bryant, but, Steve Nash had the title, therefore he was in fact the MVP regardless of what anyone's opinion is.
