The difference is that other fighters try to pick fights that are a lot harder and are not considered a cherry pick.

Does anyone really think people will look back at the fighters from this era and declare Manny Pacquiao the best? They absolutely did, back in 2009. We are six years removed from the BWAA electing Pacquiao as Fighter of the Decade. Has he done anything of note since his win over Cotto? In terms of boxing achievements he really hasn't.
