Floyd said what he said. The video wasn't spliced or dubbed, it was a series of complete sentences that included he doesn't get the credit he deserves despite his continuous victories. I wish I could find it, it's on this site somewhere.

My suggestion that he isn't the best is a direct reflection of my feelings on his cherry-picking. We only know he's the best at beating those he chooses to fight. As for failing to hold the guy I believe is the best to the same standards, now you are making assumptions that you can't substantiate. What guy do I think is the best? In what instance did I fail to hold him to the same standards as Mayweather?

I think what happens is people weigh heavily against floyd who he didn't fight but don't do that for other fighters. I could be wrong.

Work with me Dunn. In other words, we only know Mayweather's the best at beating those he cherry-picks. The true best take on their highly skilled challengers. We can debate this all day, but you and I both know that Mayweather intends to retire undefeated. He intends to do this not by defeating his highly skilled challengers, but rather by defeating very carefully picked opponents which appear to be a challenge.

A legit good fight usually means against an opponent that people wanted Floyd to fight for a while.

Before their last fight, were people even considering some to be Floyd's opponents? Marquez at WW? Ortiz? Guerrero? Maidana? Baldomir?

The above just points out that Floyd looks for the "hype" with relatively no risk and asks himself "Will I be able to con the fans into buying this PPV fight? No? How about if we get a good undercard? That usually gets them ..... go for it

The difference is that other fighters try to pick fights that are a lot harder and are not considered a cherry pick.

The greats would pick on tough fights even when the odds were against them.

The next post from the same poster -I fell asleep the fight was so boring.

Then the same poster stays up to 430 in the morning creating threads about floyds resume.
