The difference being, that one fight was an obvious fix, and the other was a fight where the guy was seemingly trying to win, and was being grossly outgunned. I've never seen a fight thrown where a fighter:

-Gets his brains scrambled for 9 rounds, while fighting back as best he can.
-Breaks down emotionally because of what he thinks is an unfair stoppage.

I will concede that Angulo didn't have the pop on his punches that he normally does, but that didn't translate into a thrown fight to me considering his actions during and after the fight. It just doesn't compute to me. But to each his own bro. We're just 2 grown men not seeing eye to eye.

agreed! we agree to dis agree. I'm not a big conspiracy type of guy ,how ever I think the outcome of this fight is far more sinister . I'm gonna watch it a few more time to further read in between the lines .

1. How do you know what he was crying about? Could've been anything.

2. Can you honestly say rounds 1 thru 7 Angulo was legitimately trying? It's not even close, the man clearly wasn't there to fight, for whatever reason that may be, who knows. But I can tell you there's no way in hell you can truthfully tell yourself that Angulo was trying to fight. Toast punches didn't even attempt to look strong. It wasn't that he could phase Canelo, it's the fact he through them with absolutely no power AT ALL. And that was right from the jump, not like he caught a beating then claimed up. He refused to throw anything with any type of authority.

Bad stoppage but this was proof that Mexicans prefer to die rather than hug and run like Floyd or Lara. Sure, call us piñatas but for us its called machismo, manhood, pride. Because in my time lurking this site, I've seen the reasoning that posters use for liking and disliking fighters, and the reasoning/antics/tactics they use for discrediting fighters they don't like. There's a rabid display of ignorance, racism, and utter ******ity running rampant that I choose not to be a part of. I just sit back and watch er... read, normally disgusted, but sometimes amused.

As far as your previous question to me on the subject of Angulo actually trying: Yes, I believe he was legitimately trying. Just look at the stats. He threw nearly 200 more punches than Canelo, including 68 more power shots. He was in Canelo's face working for the whole fight, even if his punches weren't what they are normally. That's not the sign of a guy who's throwing a fight/already decided he lost/doesn't want to win. As far as the emotional breakdown, I don't see how it could be anything else, other than personal disappointment. I'm pretty sure he wasn't crying because his fish died earlier. I understand that everyone has different opinions though, so I try not to beat a dead horse. We see things differently. It is what it is.

Lastly, I kind of just post when the feeling hits me. If you check my post history, it's pretty random haha. Seeing that I've had respectful debates with a few posters tonight, it definitely wasn't a bad thing.

Youre too much of a hardcore fan,you should be ashamed of yourself......just like you i went for angulo but i predicted in a post at the begining of the week"canelo was gonna dominate in the center of the ring,and angulo was gonna have his best shot against the ropes"..that being said my official prediction was a spectacular performance by canelo with a 11 rnd tko...i was off by a rnd,but angulo was clearly getting whooped,and taking big shots...this was a fight on the big stage and it showed canelo is possibly the next star of boxing...angulo showed heart but was outgunned from begining to end...accept it. I just want to say as much I/we hate to see an early stoppage I'd much rather it end this way then like Magomed or Duk Koo Kim and many others . It's a very fine line ,and though I feel slighted with the intensity level of a certain fighter tonight . I'm very greatful that the cation was giving to prevent further unfortunate situations from accruing . Also I hope they took precaution to have more ambulances readily available in Vegas then thay had in New York in November . WE LOVE YOU MAGO!!!

Those stats are misleading bc all of those the vast majority were at half strength if that. Not gonna beat the dead horse either, but honestly I don't think you could even begin to say Angulo came to fight. It was pretty blatantly obvious if you ask me.

On the posting issue I feel you completely. I used to just read on here. But 21 (15 from before this night) in 8 years? I'm sorry but I find it pretty odd you haven't wanted to post in all these years but did for this fight? Wasnt really monumental to make a point of posting? No offense, just VERY peculiar
