    Listen.

Nobody said "White fans don't support or follow or like black or hispanic fighters". Nobody said that. That wasn't the name of this thread. It wasn't in the initial post.

The ******est thing in response to racism is "my best friend is Puerto Rican". That is myopic.

The statement was that White fighters are over-hyped. They get hype and media coverage (and thus, money) disproportionate to their accomplishments or abilities in the sport.

Nobody said that all white fans dislike ethnic fighters.

      Gatti
      Hatton
      Malignaggi?
      etc.

There are now 3 or 4 threads about Malignaggi - a trashtalking, featherdusting, juniorwelterweight in a talent-laden division who hasn't beaten anyone of note. Huh?

The white boxing fan keeps searching for the next Great White Hope. Meanwhile, there are tons of more deserving Hispanic fighters who fly below the radar. I'd love to see Gatti vs. Castillo. Malignaggi is saying that he is the best 140er in the world. Rock Allen will knock you out in two. Castillo will make you cry. Corrales will make you quit. Casamayor will embarrass you.

I'll just sit and watch as each Great White Hype gets knocked off.
I did not know their were White Boxers.......

Gatti quit on his stool. He is a grown man. If he wanted to continue, he'd object to McGirt's stopping. He didn't. Instead, he sat there. --> Quitting.

Tyson, and Tyson's following is 10,000 times Gatti's following.

Lacy is an exciting warrior that is not getting Gatti type attention as well.

Gatti quit. And in a very *****-like manner, might I add. With McGirt cradling his swollen head and Arturo resting his head on Buddy's chest.

Gatti asked to continue and McGrit wouldn't let him and the New Jersy commissioner was stopping the fight anyways. Once again you ignore the facts and push your sorry agenda

No ****. And if he really wanted to continue, he sure didn't protest the stoppage. Instead he stayed on his stool. But wait... he wanted to continue. *sarcasm*

Tyson, as far as an attraction, is a crossover hit and is incomparable to Gatti as far as the type of freakish monsterous train wreck of a slugger he was.
Tyson was like a Jordan, a once in a blue moon event. He would sell to the Anti Boxing Association if there was one. not to mention he was a Media circus.

Gatti is not even on the level of a fighter like a Morales. Yet Morales does not get the White support Gatti gets and vice versa. I think Gatti is hyped and overrated more than any non-white boxer there is. I for one like seeing Gatti fight but not as much as some of these other fighters.
