Does anyone else feel like a lonely boxing nerd?

Count me among the lonely boxing nerds. Got one semi-hardcore fan friend (whom I successfully converted) and a small handful of friends who are extreme casuals. They pretty much only follow Floyd -- not because they're fans but just because they wanna see him lose.

Most roll their eyes at me when I try to inject some boxing talk into the convo, lol.

Look, I get the whole to each their own thing, but some dumb motherf**kers just piss me the f**k off. I got one friend (not even really a friend nowadays, just an acquaintance) who came over one time when we were watching a fight and all he did was complain the whole time.

"God this is boring."

"This fight sucks."

"What a lame fight, why is this even on TV."

Then one time he called and I was watching an Andre Ward fight, and he was like, "who? he must really suck because anybody who fights on anything other than PPV must be garbage". I swear I wanna knock this dude out these days because of that. I gotta step back and not take this boxing ish so seriously

The real question here is; do your friends know about your obsession with that boxing God Sutherland?

Same here. My bro and my wife are the only real boxing fans that I know of. I used to have friends over to watch big fights but I can't do that anymore. It annoys me when they are not as into ot as I am. To me, if you're not a boxing fan than you are lame. Therefore, I have no friends anymore.

I'm a sports junkie! And so are almost all of my friends. We all watch Boxing, NBA, MLB, NFL and UFC. Fight parties are the best!!! So no I don't feel the way u do. I have a lot of friends and family that watch Boxing.

Yeah, I'm the only one that I know that really follows it.. I have a handful of friends that will watch Floyd or manny but none know who mikey or Danny Garcia is, or Maidana, khan, broner, froch, ward etc... That's why I'm on NSb everyday

I had to tell this Irish dude at my work about Ricky Burns fighting this weekend. He was like Ricky Burns? I know a race car driver named Ricky Burns I think. The funny thing was he said that he remembered hearing about Crawford though. I told him to catch a stream of it tomorrow because Crawford was going to put on a clinic.
