This is a shame to hear they won't be doing any sparring, they could help each other out a lot regardless of opponent.

Forget about who they are fighting soon and wether or not they are the ideal sparring partners for their respective bouts, but they could be very useful to each other in general. They are among the biggest names in the sport at this point and it would be a benefit to each other, I don't see how it couldn't be.

Especially for Cotto, he is fighting a southpaw next and Manny is THE southpaw in the game at the moment...It could be cool of Roach to get Manny to help out in the Cotto camp a little, but seeing that Manny would have fought and be in a resting phase before his next fight it is unlikely though.

Remember in training camps there are more than just one sparring partners, what Pac could help Cotto in would be moving around the ring, yea Pac is smaller than Martinez but he is quicker, he can help Cotto in using his legs a lot and moving around the ring.

I think that's kinda ******. I believe it would benefit cotto a bunch sparring with PAC. Manny is faster and arguably more powerful than Martinez along with being slick. Maybe they won't spar because Manny's fight is first and cotto does not resemble Bradley, but when cotto is getting ready for Martinez sparring PAC would be very beneficial for cotto

And a fighter that can and will generate money? There's just Marquez, who isn't eager to fight him again.
If pac wins, he will fight JMM whose interested in the WBO belt Manny n Bradley is fighting for. Since next fight is Manny's last fight under arum, I could see greedy Bob also prematurely make Mikey Garcia vs Manny at a catch weight. Or if Alvarado somehow beats JMM it could be Alvarado. Those are the only three scenario

I don't understand why Cotto is starting his training so early. The fight isn't until June and weight shouldn't be an issue.

I don't think he's in training camp, he's just in the gym staying fit.
