Why does Pac need to go for the KO? It seems to be unnecessary and undue pressure. Manny just needs to win convincingly and do just a little more each round than last time and don't let any close rounds get away. Hope Roach knows what he is doing.

I don't see how Manny prepares Miguel for Sergio at all. No ds, but explain.

I still think Cotto would have got him in the rematch, lol, not a very popular opinion, but my own lol. There were a couple of variables as to why Cotto lost in the 1st place, but in the end, it wasn't his night.

So what if he's not sparring Cotto. Manny's gonna get some great work out of Lydell Rhodes and Holt (a guy he should have fought at 135). Much needed work that he'll get from 2 guys who will greatly prepare him for Timmah.

And a fighter that can and will generate money? There's just Marquez, who isn't eager to fight him again.
Jesus. If Cotto wins the middleweight belt and Pacquiao goes after it for his 9th weight division - could you imagine?

Both Manny and Sergio are known for explosiveness, fast hands, and terrific footwork. Added with the fact that they are both the two premier southpaws in the sport right now - you don't get any better preparation, besides sparring Erislandy Lara.

Very true. Couldn't have said it any better!

Sergio isn't as fast as Manny and they move around the ring in totally different ways. Manny's in and out darting will not prepare Cotto for Sergio's polished ring generalship. Manny does not bring the size or the power to prepare anyone for Sergio. Especially a Sergio with no Knee problems lol.
