Even though I hate the guy Haye is arguably TOP 3 maybe even TOP 2 CW ever. He will be inducted to Hall of Fame and so will Byrd.

I've never said Wlad had beaten other ATGs.
Lennox Lewis was undisputed heavyweight champion. Byrd just won a belt that was on par with what the IBO is today - a non-belt really. He wasn't considered a champion at all. So no, he was not a heavyweight champion - he just happened to hold a belt for one fight nobody cared about.

Yes, Haye is a top cw, but it was an extremely weak division he fought in and the division has always been historically weak.

Neither have a chance of being inducted at all - because neither have the required standard to be inducted. It's as simple as that.

I just saw you were referring to Joe Calzaghe - my mistake.

Also Byrd and your Haye are HOFers.

He beat other ATGs so yes, he is an ATG.

You finished? Now GTFO of my thread alt.
Wlad's loss to Brewster was not "pre Stewart. "

Byrd and Haye are not hall of fame fighters. That's just laughable.

After Ali went away, Frazier proceeded to become the heavyweight champion in one of the better heavyweight decades by beating all the names that mattered at the time. That's why the Fight of the Century was called the Fight of the Century, and that's why when Ali came back, despite never losing his title in the ring, there was a legitimate dispute about who was the real champion. Frazier had a great career, if short, and eliminated any question anyone might have about his greatness when he won one of, if not the biggest fight in the history of the sport.
The fight of the century was the biggest fight of all time no doubt. Don't forget about the thrilla in manilla he took ali to the very brink. I still believe that ali would not have come out in the 15th. Hearing ferdie talk about Ali's condition after the fight just amplifies the respect of both fighters in my opinion.

There's no chance either get in.

If a miracle occurs and they both get in (Impossible) the HOF may aswell be void.

But that's irrelevant because the reality is neither are going to get in because neither are even close to HOF level.
Who would you rather induct into the HOF of Haye and Byrd if you had to pick one? Though both clearly won't get in.

I can't wait until ten years from now, when it's probable some fighter worse than Wlad is dominating worse fighters than Wlad is fighting. All these Wlad fans complaining about nostalgia will be talking about how much better Wlad was and hearing the same ****** logic about their opinions being colored by nostalgia.

Isn't that what's happening with GGG at the moment?

Probably Haye but it's hard to choose to be honest

I read a lot of dumb stuff from both sides about GGG, but I don't think I've seen anything about nostalgia with him.

I agree. But it would be an embarrassment to the hall of fame should either get inducted.

Could just picture the faces of the old greats when Chris Byrd's name gets mentioned

I've seen a lot of people saying he's the greatest or one of, middleweights of all times.

The same fans that are saying it about Klitschko strangely enough.

But I like GGG, I just hope he won't get the same ridiculous fanbase as them.
