Has Floyd fought someone as good as Chavez Sr and Leonard?

So the short answer is no.
I honestly don't see how beating a past prime fighter who beat a past prime fighter has to do with anything. These are just fantasy bouts; fun to discuss but holds little weight to backup a concrete argument. Since both were over the hill, the Mosley & De La Hoya wins on Floyd & Manny's resume shouldn't be so heavily leaned on; besides the performance of/comments from those fighters in retrospect to the opponents they've faced throughout their careers.
Besides, Roger & Sr got slaughtered. Floyd is obviously better but the question is how much?Comment

mosley was washed up vs mayweather anywayyou understand that sparring means nothing.
By the sounds of the crowd yelling "taylor!" i'm guessing he's getting ready for his fight with meldrick taylor.
It's chavez sr's job to work only on his weaknesses against that style, and just be comfortable in there with that style.
I've seen tons of sparring footage of guys only working on their weaknesses, and letting the other guy go to town on them.
You'll see tons of sparring sessions where the guy that's getting ready for the fight is only working on certain aspects during a certain sparring match. Like head movement, timing, spacing, foot work, etc. This is probably a case of that.Comment
