King TRIED making Hopkins a star but he couldn't, Hopkins would look great koing someone than take someone he should ko to a boring decision. Hopkins thought he was getting screwed didn't sign with King again. No one cared for Hopkins much.

It was King who got the middleweight tournament together for Trinidad. Hopkins spoiled the party.

...On a side note Keith Holmes is fighter Hopkins knew he had to fight dirty than dirt to beat him.

One of the best career move Hopkins could have ever done is join GBP.

But imagine being the trainer that helped Hopkins get to where he is at and than being fired because he wants more money because now you making some big money (even your every day Joe gets a raise now and then).

He was only able to finally fight Holmes and Tito because of the Don King tournament, in which Hopkins had to "bribe" his way in by paying Lou DiBella $50,000 out of pocket which went to King, and King then owned the rights to Hopkins for several fights after that as well. It's well documented since this all came out when DiBella sued Hopkins for spilling the beans. This was back when DiBella worked for HBO. Basically, it took a whole lot of shady business for Hopkins to even get his foot in the door.

Lol tito lost but Dam look at tito forehead after the figh he got Headbutted over 10 times. There's a video on YouTube that shows Hopkins jumping in with his head he did it constantly

Lol u are just a hater. Unlike your countryman tito didn't have anything in his gloves he just wrapped his gloves a certain way for every fight. The way he wrapped his hands was and is allowed everywhere except in New York. Your guy loaded his gloves **** Margacheato

To me it looks like Hopkins threw a touch left uppercut -- as a throwaway punch -- to set up his right hand.

Are you ******? Its beautiful, perfect catch and counter, but that is the same way every fighter in history has blocked a left hook, nothing special about it. He kept his glove pinned to his face, like he always does, and capitalized on Tito being lazy bringing his hook back low and not moving his head.

That's what a good boxer suppost to do, "keep your hands up"

He intentionally blocked that Tito hook, it's like he knew Tito would throw it and anticipate him throwing it, blocking it and then countering with his own right hand. It was a genuinely beautiful move by B-hop.

Even a blind man could tell Tito was going to throw his left hook. He always did. So there was no secret about it.

You are not following me. Hopkins won the IBF title in 1995. Joppy was the WBA champ in 1996 to 2001. For 5 years Don King kept Joppy away from Hopkins. Likewise, Keith Holmes was the WBC title holder from 96-98, 99-01. Don King kept his title holders away from Hopkins.
