Tito was beaten up and tired
and Hopkins can counter like hell on a fresh guy, or he could back then
Tito couldn't bring his lead hand back to guard his chin in time
he might not have gotten KO'd in that sequence earlier on in the fight
but by then he had nothing left
****** to see him dropped like that, but it's a great KO by Hopkins

That **** was right on the money!!!! Sheesh, I still remember being so sick watching my guy get put down like that. Smh Tito got up but was on ***** Street. That was a rough sports yr for me. Yankees ended up losing the World Series to Arizona. Tito losing was worst though for me personally.

He would look great koing someone and in his next fight its a boring display of boxing. Can't anyone tell me they seriously enjoy the first fight between him and Roy Jones Jr? Tough fight to watch. Hopkins could have performed better had when he was younger had he not forced himself to stay at middleweight for so long. But he's had a great career that many respect. But, if you too take a closer look its interesting.
You obviously don't know the history between Hopkins and King. It took Hopkins so long to unify the division because the other title holders were all King fighters, which King kept away from Hopkins for years.

I wonder why Hopkins didn't want a rematch or why Hopkins didn't duke it out with the smaller man. Hopkins played it safe for the first part of the fight, but can't blame him he won.
That talk of asking for a rematch was just that...talk. Behind closed doors they didn't want it. I love Tito but that much was true.

"Tell Felix Trinidad and his father to stop *****footing with the ****. If they want to get ****ed all they need to do is knock on the door and they'll get their shot. Trinidad didn't just get beat he got knocked out…and I know his father doesn't like to hear these words, but if his son wants to become a champion at middleweight he needs to see me…I came at him the same way he came at Oscar by telling them to switch the names and we have a fight, and I kicked that ass without controversy. He wanted Oscar De La Hoya to do something he wasn't willing to do with me, so that should show you how ****** and scared they are…I love sticking it to them, because all that you need to ask him is, Did Bernard Hopkins kick your son’s ass? ****, his son probably kicked his ass when they got home for putting him in there with that kind of animal. What Trinidad Sr. did to his son is considered child abuse in some states. Trinidad's father should have been institutionalized for putting his son in there with me. Every time he brings my name up he needs to look at that tape to know what kind of man and what kind of athlete Bernard Hopkins is. The only thing I haven't figured out yet is who regrets it more, Trinidad, Trinidad Sr. or Don King?

At first glance, it looked like a missed uppercut. But when watching it again, I can see what you mean. The placement of his left explains it to me. It's so close to his face.

I am aware of this. But you are twisting the facts.

King TRIED making Hopkins a star but he couldn't, Hopkins would look great koing someone than take someone he should ko to a boring decision. Hopkins thought he was getting screwed didn't sign with King again. No one cared for Hopkins much.

It was King who got the middleweight tournament together for Trinidad. Hopkins spoiled the party.

...On a side note Keith Holmes is fighter Hopkins knew he had to fight dirty than dirt to beat him.

One of the best career move Hopkins could have ever done is join GBP.

But imagine being the trainer that helped Hopkins get to where he is at and than being fired because he wants more money because now you making some big money (even your every day Joe gets a raise now and then).
