I happen to believe that Quillin is who he is. His stock might have gone down, but I also don't see it getting any higher unless he beats a Lara. After all wouldn't it be better for him to lose to Lara than a Rosado?

Not to mention they're both with Golden Boy, both need a fight, both Cubans. Fight makes sense to me.

Lara said Floyd Mayweather is #1 on his hit list how come no one talks about that? Isn't Lara #1 to Floyd's WBA belt?

And regardless of what contracted weight they fight at. Its a welterweight fighting a middleweight.
So Golovkin beat a Light-heavyweight in Curtis Stevens since he used to fight there? You're talking nonsense, boxing works on weight class limits.

A middleweight that brings nothing to the table financially nor legacy wise. We still don't even know if GGG can fight.
Are you boxing fan or not? Golovkin is a world champ at 160 that does 1 million plus viewers when he fights.

The best way to fix this problem is by the fans sticking together and demanding the networks work with all the promoters to get these fights set. Hit them where it hurts, their wallet(Start cancelling subscriptions), it will get their attention in a hurry.

I dont feel that Floyd has to fight GGG at all...but this whole thing about welterweights cant fight middles and small men shouldnt have to move up has gone overboard.

Cotto is a natural 140/147 but when he fought Floyd was at 154, he was considered "big" and a full size jr middle. And you can bet that Floyd is praying for him to beat Sergio so he can fight him at 160 and claim that lineal title.

Smaller men have been fighting bigger ones for a very long time. No one is above this fact.

I'm sure a lot of people see Andre that way. I'm a fan of both B-Hop and SOG but what I'm saying is, B-Hop would have to come down to Super Middleweight and GGG would have to move up to Super Middleweight. Sure it would make a good fight. But, that's a lot of moving up and down for a fight to happen. B-Hop has two titans in his weight class to be thinking about this year. Not someone way down in the middleweight division. Kovalev, Stevenson, and B-Hop triangle of terror. If he moved down to see GGG then went back up to see either of those two at light heavyweight, it wouldn't be in his best interest.

Are you not a boxing fan? Cause last I checked, Sergio Martinez was THEE world champion at 160 and anybody else is just a cheap, knockoff paper trinket holder.

As for Floyd giving up the belts at 54, who gives a ****. He can give up the belts at 47 and 54 and he's stille the best fighter in the world.

Dude why would he step in the ring with a light heavyweight. Better yet, how would he step in the ring with a light heavyweight??

If you've won titles in five divisions. I would think you've fought "bigger" guys a time or two.

As for Cotto being a natural jr welter or welter. He swears he can't make 47. And I don't know who said Cotto is a big jr middleweight. He's actually small for the fivision.

They made a blurb on social media for one. No one camp is reaching out to another camp or making a serious offer or request.
Secondly, how is Lara going to fight on HBO?
Third, the idea is 4 fights a year with one being in Europe - to maintain popularity there where is people and country are. K2 got there Euro fight out of the way in Monte Carlo. Now HBO is going to dictate where he fights. And that is most likely, two fights in NY and one in Conn at Foxwood Casino.
If Lara & Co. want to fight GGG they will have to square that away with GBP and Showtime. And HBO would have to accept it.
I see a lot of people making random meaningless blurbs without taking the time to read on why and how fights get made. Don't ramble just to ramble.
