Why doesn't anybody mention GGG vs. Hassan N'Dam or Marco Antonio Rubio?? They are legit ranked middleweights...

Rubio is mandatory to both Martinez and Quillin and is thought to be holding out to fight Martinez post-Cotto.

Afaik N'Dam was not top of HBO's shopping list. His comeback is tomorrow night.

His name was brought up along Soliman for November last year and I think people said he was trying to duck Stevens (Which would be correct)

Sure, I mean Lara sounds like he wants to make a statement more so than collect a "fat check" and I've heard GGG is making good money fighting over there so the money shouldn't be an issue. If there is an issue with being on HBO or Showtime, why not have it on an independent PPV in MC?

I thought that the idea was that no credible competition was willing to fight GGG? It sucks that a SMW is the one calling him out but at least he is willing to take the challenge and he is undoubtedly more skilled than the last bunch that have stepped in the ring with GGG and certainly more of a challenge than Kirkland will prove to be. If one of the next two opponents is going to be another guy coming up from 154, why can't it be Lara instead of Kirk?

You didn't read the whole thread -- at #25, #29, #30 I've suggested that such a fight may be done in Monte Carlo. But someone here told that the GGG's next three fights are taken by HBO... Therefore Lara (and his handlers) should provide a way in dealing with this situation...

GBP and HBO have evidently been in talks... so if HBO and GBP do work together this year, Lara would take a backseat to Quillin....which of course will lead to everyone saying GGG is ducking Lara.

Golovkin: It is possible, this is my present, it is my dream fight. I think it's a very interesting fight, for fans, for TV, for everybody. I know I work with HBO, Floyd is with Showtime, but I asked my promoter and he told me it's possible. I hope.
