I'll do it as soon as Golovkin steps inside the ring along with A leveled boxer... Andre Dirrell, Ward, Hopkins, Kovalev or Stevenson.Comment

Exactly the level of opposition Ward needs to date -- Andre Dirrell, Hopkins, Kovalev or Stevenson. (It's true that Ward called B-Hop out, though...)

Edit: The only way Floyd is ducking GGG is by not calling him out. Golovkin is willing to come down to 152(should of never said that but ok) as Canelo did and GGG is the same height as Oscar Del La Hoya (5'10˝). As far as sizes go, it is nothing Mayweather hasn't faced before. I'm sure HBO would allow for that fight to happen. It's a great opportunity for Golovkin and he could come back to HBO a bigger star because of it. I remember Floyd mentioning Sergio Martinez as a potential opponent, why not Golovkin?
Anyway, it's disappointing Loeffler didn't mention a potential Lara fight in Monte Carlo.Comment

Are you serious homie??? First of all, Floyd is a welterweight. He's only fought above 47 three times. And that's because those were monster paydays with crossover stars.
DLH was the biggest name in boxing. And was by far Floyd's biggest day too that point. Made since to go up.
Cotto at that time was probably the biggest name in boxing not named Floyd or Manny. He's not the crossover star they are. But he is a familiar name to casual fans. And, it showed since he and Floyd were the third biggest non-heavyweight PPV ever.
Which brings me to Canelo. Canelo I believe has taken over Cotto as the #3 star in boxing. And he may be even bigger than Cotto. But GBP invested a lot into turning Canelo into a crossover star, particularly for the mega event that became of he and Floyd. He was grromed for that moment. Which is why he fought on so many Floyd undercards.
GGG is none of this. He's extremely popular among hardcore fans. But he has no crossover appeal as of now. And personally I've never heard him mentioned by the mainstream media. Right now, he's not worth the risk for Floyd. If he keeps going the way he's going, he could eventually turn into that. But as of right now he'd be a waste of time. And honestly a ****** risk for Floyd to take.Comment
