Why do some posters keep saying Floyd should fight GGG or Martinez at 154?

I think that is pure B.S. I don't think most fans are interested in GGG, many don't know who the **** he is. They know Broner much more than GGG. And many aren't clamoring for a Martinez fight.

The only fight that most are clamoring for is Mayweather vs. Pacquaio. Any other fight is irrelevant pretty much. Even a Bradley fight is irrelevant.

The only fight everyone gives a damn about is Mayweather vs. Pacquaio.

You guys hate to call a spade, a spade. It would be different if you criticized both of them at the same time. I'd respect your opinion/criticism a lot more.
If no one is criticizing Pacquiao for 'not taking on greater risk' it is because he has taken on great risks on many different occasions in his career. It is one of the great and salient differences between the careers of Mayweather and Pacquiao.

I don't know why someone would want a drained fighter as opposed to a top WW that's not drained or any fighter that's not drained really.

Golovkin and Broner actually do similar numbers.

I wasn't saying fans want Golovkin more than Pacquiao, but it's bigger than a Maidana fight. I don't think Maidana would put up 1 million+ viewers against a fringe B-side.

There's no guarantee they're going to be drained, besides, they carry the sort of power that can end the fight in 1 or 2 rounds.

I'd say you're safe enough though, it's unlikely to ever happen.

If they make weight correctly then they don't have to be drained. Besides there are degrees to being 'drained', degrees in performance loss due to not replacing electrolytes.

Then he should grow some balls and go up to 160 and challenge them at their respective weights.

Of course of course but people are saying fight them if they're drained anyway.

It's not definite that Golovkin will be drained at 154 albeit very likely.

If he moves down gradually and maybe takes a few tune ups then I'd be all for a possible Mayweather fight.

Right now I don't think it's worth the risk.

If he did that then it would be a gift to the fans...but no way in hell does he have to
