yah i had loma winning 7-5..........i don't count low blows as body punches as most ppl seem to do.
thank god you aren't a judge (calling a fight for another guy that wasn't even close is a disgrace) and also counting belt line shots as "low blow" because the hbo commentary tells you they were low is even more hilarious............& last but not least. ignoring the pushing, forearm, and clinching from lomachenko is flat out bias to epic proportions...........

We didn't get the HBO version over here and you could quite clearly see Salido swinging around the nutsack area repeatedly in every round.
So much complaining about the low blows lmao. It's not either guys fault the referee was incompetent. If he's not gonna call the low shots, why would Salido stop throwing them?
Yes it was a rough/dirty tactic, but A LOT of pros use dirty tactics. Ask Paulie about when he fought Cotto. He said Cotto was dirty as hell. Hitting him on the thighs, ****ing him in the shins when they got close. Not to mention to tie up Cotto likes to push down on the back of his opponents head. Mayweather sticks elbows in your face, Hopkins wrestles the **** out of his opponents. It just showed the lack of experience by Loma. He (or his cornermen) didnt even try and bring it to the refs attention, nor did he try and stray his punches low in retaliation.
salido so called "low blows" maybe 2 were true low blows (to the nuts) most of the shots were to the leg/hip or belt line (castillo targeted mayweathers hips and legs all night long) and everyone on nsb considers that a master performance from Castillo.............but some how the tune is changed with salido lomachenko? lomachenko clinched and pushed all night (when ever salido would work his way inside lomachenko would push him and zip out of the way) salido started to retaliate with hitting his body and hips...........a tactic for a tactic (a trade) but no one talks about lomachenkos end..............
The amount of whining is unreal. Man, some of you guys just need to accept it and move on with your lives. He simply was not ready and was CLEARLY defeated.
punch stATS SHOWED lOMA OUTLANDing, by quite a way, even if they were counting the illegal low blows, plus he schooled him in the final round.
Please don't post again idiot.....
They also showed Salido outlanding Lomachenko in powershots by some margin and Lomachenko doing virtually nothing for the first 10 rounds.
It wasn't a debatable decision. For every point Salido should of had deducted for lowblows, Lomachenko should of had 2 for all the clinching, pushing and rabbit punching.
I thought Loma won too. Then again, I'm one of those crazy people who see clean punches to the head as more effective than illegal punches to the nuts. Especially when you land more of them than the other guy. I think that's usually how people win fights, but I could be wrong.

You are aware that any punch to the body is considered a power shot right? And a large percentage of the body shots landed were actually nut shots

how many actually landed on the nuts? if you were watching from the u.k. you got the larry merchant version who actually took up for salido "most of the shots are not hitting lomachenko directly low, most of them are belt line"
quote from your commentary..............also it was a tactic for a tactic (lomachenko was the first one to turn the fight into a clinch push match)
