A lot were on the hips, which is still illegal and dirty
And should not count as a legitimate punch landed. Anyone can land on someone's hips

One of the actual judges had Loma winning btw

i didn't watch the fight with HBO commentary...dan rafael scored the fight a draw...one of the judges scored it 115-113 for loma (which i agree with)

It wasn't a debatable decision. For every point Salido should of had deducted for lowblows, Lomachenko should of had 2 for all the clinching, pushing and rabbit punching.
is it illegal to hold only one hand letting the other guy work with the free hand, and obviously you aren't allowed to hold and hit, which loma wasn't

anyway, i can't be bothered to watch the entire fight because it sucks terribly with loma's ******ed clinching and lack of punching, but watching the little bits that i did i felt like lomachenko was in "amatuer" mode, like the bodyshots of salido wouldn't count for anything, only time i saw him come back at salido was when he got tagged upstairs

He (Salido) probably won the fight by landing 50+ more power punches, maybe? Did that possibly ever dawn on you?

He lost the fight. It wouldn't of even been competitive if it wasn't for a late surge.
It was rough all round. Lomachenko was non stop clinching and pushing, I am yet to see one Salido fan crying about point deductions.

What do you expect Salido to do when a guy is coming in so low and clinching unnecessarily? Lomachenko had no excuses hopefully instead of crying about lowblows he goes and corrects his mistakes and learns how to fight in the pocket.

All these excuses will just put people off supporting him, sadly. The referee ****** admittedly but they was both as bad as each other.

I think Lomachenko was clinching as a response to Salido's lowblows and not the other way around. He realized that Salido was going to be able to keep getting away with his fouls and clicnhed to stifle the lowblows. If you look at the fight, Salido hardly even attempted to throw any head punches the entire time.
But I agree that Loma needs to work on his inside game. That was made painfully clear on Saturday night. To his credit, he seemed to have really put it together in the last bunch of rounds and I think he would KO Salido in a rematch.

Let's be real anyway. There were a lot of people who were against Vasyl leading up to the fight and who cheered when he lost

there were many more legit body shots then there were hip shots..........and no one cares about a judge who had loma winning because the name of the event was lomachenko. he's the darling child.........we're all just shocked that the other 2 judges didn't rob him whooohahahaha in realty the fight wasn't even close. (lomachenko did too much pushing and clinching and not enough punching for 10 straight rounds. he got himself out worked)

Salido is a cheat but Loma got in the ring and has to deal with the consequences. He seems fine with it and is moving on.

look dude, lomachenko at the very beginning of the fight holted salidos attack with pushing & clinching (and then he would zip away without even throwing punches) he would rinse and repeat this (using pushes and clinches as a tactic to stop someone from getting on the inside is actually very illegal) salido then started targeting his body hips legs everything (a tactic for a tactic) but we only hear about the wines and cries when salido retaliated............
